A tag has been placed on Louis Creed requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles – see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. License tagging for File:Minnesota Mall Mannequins. jpg.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Minnesota Mall Mannequins. jpg.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 00:06, 27 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Stephen King

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Stephen King has been reverted, as it appears to introduce incorrect information. Please do not intentionally add incorrect information to articles; use the sandbox for testing. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. Hi. Regarding your edits to Stephen King, Please familiarize yourself with WP:PRIMARY regarding which sources are appropriate to use when adding material. One Stephen King story cannot be used as a source that another one won an award.
In addition, the passage "King has written and published 49 novels, including seven under the pen name Richard Bachman, five non-fiction books, and nine collections of short stories" contains reasonable information, and there is no justification for removing it, nor did you offer any in your edit summary, which is expected of editors, especially when you remove content. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 23:28, 18 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Please do not remove citation request tags on articles, as you did with your edits to the Stephen King article here and here, until sources are provided for the material in question, or you can provide a valid, policy-based rationale in your edit summary for removing them. Although your removal of the Philanthropy section appears to be valid, you are continuing to remove valid material also, and without providing an edit summary. If you continue to do this, you may be blocked. Please familiarize yourself with WP:EDITSUM if you wish to edit here. If you have any other questions about editing, or need help regarding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks. :-) Nightscream (talk) 00:46, 19 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Trump Tower Bangalore has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Violates WP:FUTURE if it's not even certain that it will be constructed.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
