User talk:Stephanie Taylor
Nobody is refuting that Grimassi is a key figure in Stregheria, but in general, academic articles are not about key figures, they are about the subject. Key figures are generally represented as footnotes, not as the body of the main article. Why is it different here? For instance, Jack P. Greene is a key figure in the academic field of the Civil War. In the Wikipedia article on the Civil War, you don't find references to his name and statements about his position on Civil War throughout the article. He is referenced as a footnote, as is done in most academic texts. The article is after all about the Civil War, not Jack P. Greene. If folks interested in Stregheria want to know about Grimassi, they can visit his page on Wikipedia, if there is one. Are you the editor of this article and also the Stephanie Taylor who is the wife of Raven Grimassi? Raven has done a great deal for Stregheria, but I feel this is an inappropriate place to provide his biographical material. This is why universities all over the country do not allow students to use Wikipedia as a reference, as it is inherently biased. We can see that here. I'd appreciate the edits I made be reinstated. I'm glad there is a public record of this here.
