Renaming
[edit]That, Stephane, is close to vandalism, and is in any case a blatant WP:POINT. I have asked List of municipalities in Wallonia to be renamed into List of municipalities of the Walloon Region on the appropriate page because I wanted to avoid a name war, and your immediate reaction is to create a name war. As far as I am concerned, one of the latest piece of consideration I may have had for you is gone.
I have renamed the article. Please do not try this again and respect WP rules. You have been banned indefinitely from WP:fr. Is it your objective to be banned from all WP projects you are working on? Bradipus (talk) 15:00, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
First of all, Happy New Year my dear Bradipus. Then, I apologize for this move, it was not clever to act like that, as you say, we shall not enter a name-war. That teaches me one good advice : never contribute to wikipedia under alcoholic intoxication, even if we celebrate New Year's Day's Eve. ;-) You're right, let's follow the rules. 2007 Belgian government formation

Citation needed
[edit]Stephane, excuse-me but there is actually a citation in the body of the text: the form Wallony is used for instance by R.C. Fox (In the Belgian château). For the rest, I agree with you, the very official references and the academic references prove evidently that Wallonia and Wallonn Region are the same thing, even if we must (I think), have two pages (the country and its political organisation) Have a good day, José José Fontaine (talk) 15:18, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
- That exists really. I pu it in order to be exhaustiv, but don't worry about that. Incidentally, Renée C.Fox knows Wallonia very well and I think that she couldn't make such an error. But... José Fontaine (talk) 16:12, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
WP:AN thread
[edit]Just informing you that there is a thread about you on the administrator noticeboard WP:AN (don't confuse with the incident reporting noticeboard WP:ANI). --Enric Naval (talk) 16:51, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Stephane.dohet. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Stephane.dohet~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
