Proposed deletion of Scott Evans (television personality)
[edit]The article Scott Evans (television personality) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Fails WP:BASIC with no independent secondary sources, just a WP:NEWSPRIMARY interview that opens "I’ve known Scott Evans since before college..."
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. McGeddon (talk) 09:44, 9 February 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Doniago. Your recent edit to the page John Patrick Amedori appears to have added incorrect information, so I have removed it for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Your original edit to his filmography, removing Almost Famous, appears to have been correct. I'm not sure why you then reinserted this credit, as I can find no evidence that he appears in this film. Thanks! DonIago (talk) 16:14, 8 May 2017 (UTC)
Deletion discussion about Scott Evans (television personality)
[edit]Hello, Stella8358,
I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Scott Evans (television personality) should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Scott Evans (television personality) .
If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
Thanks,

[edit]Hello, Stella. I see you added an infobox to Cary Grant,[1] despite the edit notice which appears when you go to edit, and which states "The current consensus for this article is no infobox is necessary. Please discuss any changes specific to this article only in talk page instead." There is also a link to where the consensus was formed. Did you not notice this? In any case, please don't add an infobox to the article again, unless a new consensus is formed on the talkpage. Bishonen | talk 13:01, 11 November 2018 (UTC).
Discretionary sanctions for infoboxes
[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have recently shown interest in discussions about infoboxes and to edits adding, deleting, collapsing, or removing verifiable information from infoboxes. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect: any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or any page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor. Bishonen | talk 13:04, 11 November 2018 (UTC).
Rayford Griffin moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Rayford Griffin, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the prompts on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. ... discospinster talk 21:06, 27 November 2018 (UTC)

Your draft article, Draft:Rayford Griffin
[edit]Hello, Stella8358. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Rayford Griffin".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply and remove the {{db-afc}}
, {{db-draft}}
, or {{db-g13}}
code.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Snowycats (talk) 15:34, 1 June 2019 (UTC)
