Request reason:
I am currently attempting to learn how to use, edit, and create wikipedia pages. I have been working with people on the Teahouse on trying to learn when all of the sudden i was blocked and at this point don't have an exact reason as to why or how to figure it. I am not a BOT or SPAM, I am a live breathing human that is trying to learn. This is very discouraging that a person that is wanting to learn, gets blocked. If I could show a the feed from the teahouse I would but again i'm brand new to this and am trying to learn. ColinFine has posted to my question on there. Please don't block me as I am trying. Decline reason:
I accept that you are trying to learn in good faith. However, with language in your draft like "At ASUSTOR we believe that our employees are our most treasured assets. We encourage creativity and welcome different voices and ideas", and the fact that the draft reads like a company website with no independent reliable sources in the draft, it is clear that you are too close to your company to be able to write about it in the objective point of view required of an encyclopedia. You did declare a COI but I don't see where you declared a paid editing relationship(a Terms of Use requirement). You won't be unblocked to continue to edit about your company; if you want to edit about other subjects unrelated to your conflict of interest, please tell what those might be. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 19:51, 30 August 2019 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
I would add that Wikipedia is not a place to merely tell about a company. This is an encyclopedia, where article subjects must be shown with significant coverage in independent reliable sources to meet Wikipedia's special definition of notability; in this case, the definition of a notable company. Wikipedia summarizes what those independent sources state, and is not interested in what the article subject wants to say about itself or what it considers to be its own history. Primary sources like the company website/social media accounts, staff interviews, press releases, or anything similar do not establish notability. Unsolicited news stories or similar sources are what is required, where the source has chosen on its own to give the company significant coverage. Not every company merits an article here, even within the same field. If you are just here to tell the world about your company, you will not be unblocked, and should consider alternative outlets or social media. If you are interested in being a general, individual Wikipedia contributor, please tell what you will edit about and agree to not edit about your company. 331dot (talk) 19:51, 30 August 2019 (UTC)
- To put a finer point on it, the quote
At ASUSTOR we believe that our employees are our most treasured assets. We encourage creativity and welcome different voices and ideas
is copied directly from the company's website about page, which is a violation of WP:COPYVIO, and therefore had to be deleted. This is one of the most serious violations of user terms of service, and likely the tipping point in deciding to restrict the user account. Please understand that, every day, many people try to do exactly what you've done, without knowing (or sometimes caring) what Wikipedia is all about, and WP:NOT about, especially WP:NOTPROMO – they just want to promote their favorite company wherever they can. I'd recommend giving those pages, and the other pages linked within them, careful consideration. If you'd still like to edit other pages about technology, geography, linguistics, history, or whatever subject you might enjoy, Wikipedia would be happy to have you. —[AlanM1(talk)]— 12:37, 1 September 2019 (UTC)

Request reason:
Well this is why i thought i put it in a sandbox, so i could work on it, get input and then fix what "I shouldn't do". Apparently, there is no room on Wikipedia to be able to learn something new, and since everything has been deleted and i cannot fix my mistakes, then i would ask to have my ban lifted so I may try again and not make the mistakes. If it cannot be lifted then please delete my account and I will accept that there is no ability to learn how to use Wikipedia and just stick to social media. I would think my account deletion request could be honored as I have not been able to make any "contributions" to Wikipedia. I have to admit, it is quite sad that if someone is trying to learn something like how to create Wikipedia article, that the second they ask for help about something that was suppose to be in a sandbox (non-published) within a few mins of asking for help get chastised and blocked. I know there are a lot of people out there that know how to do this stuff but what about the ones that want to learn. Is this really an appropriate way to allow to learn and educate individuals that are willing? Again, I am willing to learn but cannot if the ban stays in place. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SteelZ691 (talk • contribs) 14:42, 1 September 2019 (UTC)
Decline reason:
The MediaWiki software on which Wikipedia operates does not permit the deletion of accounts. As has been pointed out below, when you make use of a privately-owned website, the onus is on you to learn the website's rules. Those rules don't allow you to use the encyclopedia to advertise your company. Yunshui 雲水 08:32, 2 September 2019 (UTC)

- The onus is on you to familiarize yourself with the purpose of this project before participating. In order to be unblocked, you need to show us you understand why what you did was wrong, how it harms Wikipedia and what you will do differently. MER-C 16:58, 1 September 2019 (UTC)
- Please also remember to sign your posts on "talk pages" (anything that has "talk:" before the page name) by adding ~~~~ (four tildes) at the end. This helps people understand who wrote what. Thanks. —[AlanM1(talk)]— 21:52, 1 September 2019 (UTC)
- You can review Wikipedia policies while being blocked(not banned, which is different) as the block does not prevent you from reading Wikipedia. 331dot (talk) 09:07, 2 September 2019 (UTC)
