BC to BCE
[edit]Hello, you are required to follow the guideline at WP:ERA, thanks. Khruner (talk) 16:32, 16 May 2018 (UTC)
- Again, you can't change BC to BCE only because you don't like it. You have to read WP:ERA, and if you persist on this pattern without giving any relevant reason, I'll call for an admin intervention. Khruner (talk) 19:19, 16 May 2018 (UTC)
I don't see what precludes me from changing... Where does it say that I can't change BC to BCE? The pages are not locked & they have nothing to do with Xtianity — Preceding unsigned comment added by Stavfrombc (talk • contribs) 15:51, 22 May 2018 (UTC)
- Khruner quoted the second bullet-point of WP:ERA for you. DMacks (talk) 17:20, 22 May 2018 (UTC)
BC to BCE
[edit]Both are allowed These events have nothing to do with Christianity - they should be in CE & BCE Stavfrombc (talk) 19:29, 16 May 2018 (UTC)
- "Do not change the established era style in an article unless there are reasons specific to its content. Seek consensus on the talk page before making the change. Open the discussion under a subhead that uses the word "era". Briefly state why the style is inappropriate for the article in question. A personal or categorical preference for one era style over the other is not justification for making a change." Khruner (talk) 19:34, 16 May 2018 (UTC)
Message from an experienced editor who prefers BCE
[edit]You have to follow WP:ERA. The guideline is there to prevent editors from changing to their preferred era style. It holds for all of us. Doug Weller talk 17:40, 22 May 2018 (UTC)
Furthermore, you seem to be using at least two accounts, counting this one and User:Stavinbc. Using multiple accounts is usually discouraged, so it would be better to select only one among them from now on. Khruner (talk) 18:03, 22 May 2018 (UTC)
