Star Wars IV:A New Hope

[edit]

Hi there. For your info yes Episode IV was released on Laserdisc, but it wasn't re-released on laserdisc which is what you are saying. Also the laserdisc version isn't the only widescreen release of the original unchanged 1977 theatrical version as there were many widescreen releases of it on VHS. Also the film was renamed Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope for the 1st anniversary theatrical release in 1978 and has had this name ever since, also Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi have always had the Episode V and Episode VI titles since they were released in the cinema, they have never not had it. Star Wars

[edit]

That is the original trilogy that was released. It does not need to be noted that changes were made, as that is noted later in the article. That is the original trilogy. It does not say it was the original version, nor does it say it was the new version , it just says the "original trilogy." Let's leave it that way, please. Plus, the note on the CG changes is out of place, and is also covered later in the article. The Wookieepedian 15:08, 8 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ok fair enough. Starogg 15:10, 8 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Also, why do you insist on having both images of Anakin in the article? The Shaw image is not canon, so it should eb removed. The Wookieepedian 15:16, 8 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It is not cannon right now, but it was for almost 20 years. It is important to note that change. Starogg 15:17, 8 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Note I have left it out of the upper area as you wanted it though, and just mentioned it farther down. Starogg 15:18, 8 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I give up. I'll just let someone else look at it. The Wookieepedian 15:23, 8 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry then. FWIW I think the compromises we did make helped the page.Starogg 15:26, 8 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry too. ;) The Wookieepedian 15:57, 8 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
