"Real world" Star Wars dates
[edit]Where are you getting the real world years for Star Wars battles such as in this diff [1]? I believe the only official stance on setting is the "A long time ago..." text at the beginning of each movie. Could you please provide a reliable source for this information if it is in fact true and not just fan fiction? BryanG(talk) 22:30, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
- That's what I thought. Unfortunetly, Wikipedia articles generally shouldn't contain fan fiction, as we are after all trying to build a factual encyclopedia here. Thank you for your understanding, and feel free to continue editing as long as your contributions follow our policies and guidelines. BryanG(talk) 04:36, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
- Hey, no problem. You're new here, you didn't really have any way to know our policies. Good luck in the future! BryanG(talk) 05:21, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
