Crawford Long FAC nomination
[edit]Hi, as one of the FAC coordinators, I just wanted to explain more about why I removed its nomination. The nom appeared premature, primarily owing to shortfalls in the article's structure and referencing when set against the FC criteria, e.g. a Featured Article will usually include a lead of 2-4 paragraphs, rather than a sentence; choppy, single-sentence paragraphs are generally to be avoided; all statements must be referenced. If improvements are made along these lines, it could be renominated, but I'd strongly suggest a Peer Review first, or you could take advantage of the recently introduced FAC mentoring scheme. Incomplete DYK nomination
[edit]Hello! Your submission of Template:Did you know nominations/Archibald Garrod at the Did You Know nominations page is not complete; if you would like to continue, please link the nomination to the nominations page as described in step 3 of the nomination procedure. If you do not want to continue with the nomination, tag the nomination page with {{db-g7}}, or ask a DYK admin. Thank you. DYKHousekeepingBot (talk) 06:34, 22 April 2017 (UTC)
