Hi,
The article in which you are interested was deleted according to Wikipedia's proposed deletion process. This means that the request of anyone, including yourself, is sufficient to have the article restored, which I will do shortly. Basically, proposed deletion is shortened process, where articles are deleted without a full debate. This restoration does not ensure that the article will remain permanently, though. All Wikipedia articles must demonstrate notability according to reliable sources, and all articles must be written in neutral tone. The person who asked for the deletion of Odbrana (tactical defense system) expressed concerns about whether the topic was notable according to reliable sources, and whether the article was sufficiently neutral in tone. After I restore the article, any editor may call for a full debate on whether the article meets Wikipedia's guidelines. If you have any other questions, I'll be happy to assist you. Best wishes, Xoloz (talk) 03:21, 24 March 2014 (UTC)
Vladimir Djordjevic (martial artist)
[edit]Hi,
As before, I have restored the article on Mr. Djordevic after your request. The same concerns about reliable sources are likely to be raised against his article as against Odbrana (which is currently undergoing an articles for deletion debate.) These article simply need more reliable sources in order to remain in the encyclopedia. Webpages which appear to be affiliated commercially with Odbrana or Mr. Djordjevic are simply not considered reliable, according to the Wikipedia's definition of the term. If reliable sources cannot be found, it may be that Odbrana and Mr. Djordjevic simply do not meet the requirements of Wikipedia's notability guidelines. There is no shame in this. As time passes, if the martial art and the instructor continue to grow in renown, reliable sources will eventually appear. If you know of other books, journals, or websites which meet the requirements of a reliable source, add them to article. That is the best advice I can give. Best wishes, Xoloz (talk) 20:11, 24 March 2014 (UTC)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of ODBRANA - Tactical Defense System / Hand To Hand Combat, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.potiori.com/Odbrana_(tactical_defense_system).html.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.
