- Hi Bobo.03, thanks for the message. I contribute mostly to the German Wikipedia and don't have enough time to contribute to the English Wikipedia in the same amount as well. Occasionally I will fix some errors or outdated information, but more is not possible. - Squasher (talk) 16:22, 5 March 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Hi, regarding the Selby article, do you have a source that says he no longer competes or an explanation for how he no longer competes if he just won a silver medal at the Commonwealth Games? I take from your username you know a lot more about the topic than me! But just wondering the reason which I think ought to be in the article and cited. Thanks, Solipsism 101 (talk) 18:06, 9 August 2022 (UTC)
- Hi, Selby announced right before the Games that he will retire after the tournament: [1]. Marking him as a ″former professional″ already beginning of August was surely not correct, but now after the Games have ended, I think it's safe to say he retired. I added a citation to avoid further confusion. Regards, Squasher (talk) 10:06, 10 August 2022 (UTC)

Takahiro Shikine
[edit]Hi, according to this link it appears he also won an individual bronze medal at the 2024 Asian Fencing Championships. Should the medal be added back to the infobox or is that results page perhaps incorrect? Thanks, Simeon (talk) 19:33, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, thanks for the message, my mistake. For whatever reason, I was double checking the épée results in this instance instead of foil and did not find him there (of course). Sorry, I will fix it. Best, Squasher (talk) 19:35, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
