Hiya.
I have a lot to learn on the synthesis side - being accustomed to only benefiting from the wonder that is Wikipedia, not generating it - so thank you for the welcome. I'm thrilled to see another engineer, to boot. Thinking I'll add an article on the moment area method for calculating beam displacement, since that was a bit of a mystery to me and it's not addressed well anywhere. (I believe it is referred to, but not explained, under Shear and moment diagrams as well as Second moment of area.)
