Fairs Cup
[edit]Hi, I just want to clear that this competition is not consider an official UEFA competition, so do not consider clubs' records in the Fairs Cup to be part of their European record see this. Simply, Fairs Cup was set up to promote international trade fairs. Friendly games were regularly held between teams from cities holding trade fairs and it was from these games that the competition evolved. Also, I don't thing that FIFA organized it. The fact that FIFA has nothing and even the founders were not within the International Federation at the time, so it's not FIFA competition.
- About Intercontinental Cup and FIFA Club World Cup ( all international ), see Wiki page to know more, and there isn't any relation with Inter-Cities Fairs Cup (just in Europe and consider an official UEFA competition).--KSAconnect 02:10, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
See International club competition records for more about official and unofficial competitions.--KSAconnect 18:12, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

Edit war
[edit]Hello. You appear to be involved in an edit war on International club competition records . While the three-revert rule is hard and fast, please be aware that you can be blocked for edit warring without making 3 reverts to an article in 24 hours. You are not entitled to 3 reverts and are expected to cooperatively engage other editors on talk pages rather than reverting their edits. Note that posting your thoughts on the talk page alone is not a license to continue reverting. You must reach consensus. Continued edit warring may cause you to be blocked. [edit]Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Carles Puyol. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. -- Alexf(talk) 12:26, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on FC Barcelona. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. You are on the verge of edit-warring. Please use the article talk page to discuss changes you wish to make, and justify them there –– Jezhotwells (talk) 01:47, 16 April 2010 (UTC)

Trophies
[edit]At FC Barcelona you made this edit. Please don't revert changes based on other FA's, as I wrote in edit summary. Cheers, Sandman888 (talk) 16:02, 29 August 2010 (UTC)
FC Barcelona edit
[edit]In this edit you removed 10 or so edits based on policy as explained in the edit summaries. This botched up the image review process at the FAC significantly, but of course you couldn't be bothered to ask about it on the talkpage. Sandman888 (talk) 23:45, 3 September 2010 (UTC)
FC Barcelona
[edit]Being a regular contributor I thought you would like to know that FC Barcelona is currently at FAC with 1 support, but could do with more reviews. See Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/FC Barcelona/archive3. Cheers, Sandman888 (talk) 08:17, 9 September 2010 (UTC)

Copa Eva Duarte trophy:
http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copa_Eva_Duarte
See the Spanish Wikipedia page. It was a official trophy recognized by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Suitcivil133 (talk • contribs) 13:26, 18 August 2011 (UTC)
But it was still founded by the RFEF and a predecessor to the current Supercopa. The reason why it is apparently not recognized officialy might be because of it connection to Franco. But the official FC Barcelona.com page has included it as well as Real Madrids official page and Wikipedia page on Wikipedia.
The Inter-Cities Fair Cup should be included as well although it is not recognized by UEFA in my opinion as it was a predecessor of the UEFA Cup. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Suitcivil133 (talk • contribs) 16:02, 18 August 2011 (UTC)
Could it not be because of the trophy's connection to Francisco Franco? When it was founded it was founded by the RFEF so one should presume that it is official, but not taken into account because of that connection to Franco? Could I be wrong? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Suitcivil133 (talk • contribs) 20:09, 18 August 2011 (UTC)
Todya de RFEF only recongnized La Liga, Copa del Rey, Copa de la Liga and Supercopa; the Eva Duarte Cup, RFEF President Cup and other older tournaments dont appear in RFEF stats--Sporting1905 (talk) 15:53, 20 August 2011 (UTC)
Inter-Cities Fairs Cup/Copa Eva Duarte
[edit]I have come to the conclusion that we should include both. Copa Eva Duarte IS a offical trophy as it was organized and founded by the RFEF. The Inter-Cities Fairs Cup, although not being recognized by UEFA, is considered as the forerunner for the current Europa League cup. I have also just noticed that the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup is acknowledged by UEFA, as witnessed by their website which lists the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup winners.
So my take on all this is to include it, but clearly state (as in the introduction of the club in the main page and which I did) that it is regarded as the forerunner of the current Europa League but not recognized by the UEFA as it was not organized or founded by UEFA. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Suitcivil133 (talk • contribs) 22:18, 20 August 2011 (UTC)
