You are funny
[edit]Your userpage might deserve an award. It is so funny. --Chemicalinterest (talk) 00:09, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
Thanks :-) I'll run out of ideas within a week tho! I might extend it a bit with jokes about sheep... like how americans invented the condom using a sheep bladder. The brits improved on it by taking it out of the sheep first :-)
- Yeah you are funny! lolz :D Good question(s) at the Sci RD, too: I finally got around to recommending that paper I'd mentioned somewhere else recently: "Are you living in a computer simulation?" Now, that's funny right there! Hope it helps with your question, too. WikiDao ☯ (talk) 02:58, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
- Haha tx :-) I'm just looking at the links you left on the Sci RD for me, glad you grasped what I was asking, my question was a bit vague. Don't think me a crackpot (I bet all crackpots say that) but I sometimes think the more scientists find out about the universe the more it seems like a simulation. It looks like it works at 1st glance but then when we look deeper it's like 'whaaat!? 90% of the universe is missing? atoms are just empty space?'. We are actually probably in a simulation of a simulation of a simulation ad infinitum lol Spoonfulsofsheep (talk) 15:41, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
- Yup, exactly -- that was one of the funnier points made in the paper I mentioned, too: "Reality may thus contain many levels. Even if it is necessary for the hierarchy to bottom out at some stage – the metaphysical status of this claim is somewhat obscure – there may be room for a large number of levels of reality, and the number could be increasing over time." lolz "somewhat obscure" -- anyway we're always interested in this sort of question over at the RD, so please feel free to visit there again should another one come up for you! Cheers, WikiDao ☯ (talk) 16:40, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
