Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Someone must have been lazy, as you have not been welcomed yet. Thank you for your contributions. Since you have been here for a while, we can pretty much assume you are not a troll, vandal, or clueless newbie. I hope you continue to like the place and don't get all grumpy and leave over nothing. Here are a few good links for newcomers, even though you aren't one:
- How to edit a page
- Editing, policy, conduct, and structure tutorial
- Picture tutorial
- How to write a great article
- The Five Pillars of Wikipedia
- Naming conventions
- Manual of Style
- Merging, redirecting, and renaming pages
- If you're ready for the complete list of Wikipedia documentation, there's also Wikipedia:Topical index.
I hope you still enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian, and won't get mad over something stupid and leave! By the way, please be sure to continue to sign your name on Talk and vote pages using four tildes (~~~~) to produce your name and the current date, or three tildes (~~~) for just your name. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome, and sorry for your not being welcomed in the past!
By the way, you might want to check out the Australian Wikipedians' notice board and WikiProject Adelaide for Australia and Adelaide-related stuff. Cheers, Alphax τεχ 15:01, 28 October 2005 (UTC)
I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Mignon Stewart, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. I see you've made some recent changes to Canberra International Airport. I think the removal of "bigger" and "smaller" aircraft is an improvement, but I'm wondering why you removed "Air South Charter"? Cheers, Pdfpdf 04:03, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
P.S. I'm also wondering why you removed the "Previous Services" section?
(It might not be doing much good, but it's not doing any harm, and it has some historical interest ... ) Cheers, Pdfpdf 04:03, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry it took so long to get back to you - it was getting ridiculous that Air South Charter was placed on many pages with a huge list of potential destinations, when other airlines like Qantas also offer aircraft for charter. It's better to just leave it at scheduled destinations I think. --splashmo 21:53, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for the reply. That seems logical/sensible/reasonable. What about the removal of "Previous Services" section? Pdfpdf 10:39, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
