Hi there, I need your Help ?
Hi there, a friend of mine advised me to look at Wikipedia to see that my Wikipedia information/page says it is to be deleted. My name is Nick Newbould and this page actually shares information about me personally. I do not know who created this information, but I can confirm the information on this page is quite accurate. I am not a tech savvy individual so I am unsure of what I would need to do to make sure this page is not deleted. I know of many people who have used this resource to gain information about me. I am a well-known theatre/TV actor from the UK and currently reside in Los Angeles where I am working on a sitcom. I can also confirm that coverage of me has not come from just local press sources, that are close to my residence, but do include national press coverage in the UK. Is there anything I can help you with, or anything I can do in order to make sure this page remains? Like I said previously I am not really technically minded so I would need some help (step by step) from someone who really knows how to navigate the Wikipedia/technical world, I am ashamed to admit that this is really not my strength. Thank you so much for your help in advance, I really do appreciate it, hope you are all keeping well out there! Yours truly, Nick Newbould. 75.12.18.22 (talk) 20:57, 9 May 2023 (UTC)[reply] Also what is UPE sockfarm mean ? Thank you again 75.12.18.22 75.12.18.22 (talk) 16:20, 11 May 2023 (UTC)
- Hi, I'm only an admin clerk so probably can't assist. You're better off making your point at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nick Newbould which it looks like you've already done. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 18:46, 11 May 2023 (UTC)

A cup of coffee for you!
I’ve probably said this before but I’m still impressed by your deletion sorting Dronebogus (talk) 21:40, 7 June 2023 (UTC) |

Delsort
Fashion is listed twice in delsort. When I created Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Polina Kuklina (2nd nomination), I thought they were for two different delsorts, but they are the same. Can you look into removing the duplicate? Thanks! - UtherSRG (talk) 15:11, 7 June 2023 (UTC)
- @UtherSRG: all resolved now, thanks for raising. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 19:13, 7 June 2023 (UTC)
- Indeed. Can you explain the difference between the delsorts for Companies and Business? Whenever I do one, I do the other, but I'm not sure that's always correct. Or if it is, should they be merged? - UtherSRG (talk) 17:03, 12 June 2023 (UTC)
- @UtherSRG: they serve the same purpose mostly. However, that being said, I live in the UK and a lot of businesses, particularly restaurants, are not companies so my personal preference is to sort restaurants and cafés into 'business' but almost everything else as 'companies'. There is some dispute as to whether record labels should be treated as 'companies' as that would imply that they need to satisfy WP:NCORP. I would ultimately say that 'companies' is a subcategory of 'business' so perhaps both should stay. In the same way, 'schools' is a subcategory of 'education' but most of us AfD admin types sort a school into both categories rather than just one. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 18:51, 12 June 2023 (UTC)
- Simply complex. Got it. XD Thanks for the reply and the good work! - UtherSRG (talk) 19:09, 12 June 2023 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Makarpur,Bhagalpur
A tag has been placed on Makarpur,Bhagalpur requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a recently created redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Yet another possible Iliochori2 sock?
Can we ever escape this character? Can you give this IP—79.8.203.39—a look and possibly confirm that it is a sock of Iliochori2? Some of their recents edits are at Andriy Porokhnya, but if you browse through their contribution history, it becomes more and more clear that we're dealing with the same person. The editing pattern and timing of all the most recent edits fall in line with Iliochori2's past edits. An IP check also traced it to Italy, where I know Iliochori2 is based. I'm only bringing this up because Iliochori2 has again requested to have their indef block lifted. Anwegmann (talk) 16:38, 2 July 2023 (UTC)
- thank you @Anwegmann: - although the IP seems to be one that they have used on and off since 2020, indicating that it might be on a PC that isn't at their main residence, this is clearly Iliochori2. The fact that they are simultaneously evading their block whilst posting unblock requests is despicable to say the least. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 17:04, 2 July 2023 (UTC)
