[edit]Hello, I'm -Alabama-. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Second plague pandemic have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse. Thanks. -Alabama- (talk) 18:25, 6 June 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks, I was meaning to undo the same edit that you did, and accidentally reverted to the incorrect version. SpheralCobra (talk) 18:31, 6 June 2022 (UTC)
Huggle
[edit]I happened to see you in the users list on Huggle. I'd like to note you are unable to use any of the revert functions without having rollback permissions. Thanks for your anti-vandalism efforts anyway! interstatefive 18:41, 15 June 2022 (UTC)
- Hey. Yeah, I'm just using it to manually undo changes in browser. One day, rollback would make this a lot easier haha. SpheralCobra (talk) 18:44, 15 June 2022 (UTC)
About reverting the bad content on medicine page.
[edit]Hey didn't you notice that snake in the picture. Don't you know that snakes are dangerous. Its dangerous act and frightening. For me its unthinkable and terrorizing. Kids read this educational page and they should not be exposed to such bad and evil photos. Thank goodness I am not a kid but looking at that picture still terrifies me. It should not be on such educational page especially on medicine page. So please reverse my edit I request you humbly. Please think about the safety of people. - (talk page stalker) @Teslafan626 – Wikipedia is not censored. Content that may be objectionable to some people may remain up there because that content is encyclopedic. Also, Wikipedia is not necessarily targeted towards kids. — 3PPYB6 — TALK — CONTRIBS — 01:13, 16 June 2022 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is not censored. Furthermore, its a longstanding symbol of medicine, called Caduceus. If you would like some more information, please visit the articles that I have linked. SpheralCobra (talk) 01:14, 16 June 2022 (UTC)
If wikipedia is like this. Then some, maybe most of the people should stop using the website and should not contribute any useful information to wikipedia. If I had access to the internet when I was a child then that would have done so much physical and especially mental damage to me. The internet is really not a safe place, especially for kids, as it can have some bad websites and bad information. Teslafan626 (talk) 01:38, 16 June 2022 (UTC)
- @Teslafan626 you are entitled to have such an opinion, but as myself and @3PPYB6 have tried to explain, Wikipedia is not censored, its purpose is to preserve and distribute encyclopaedic knowledge. Whilst I happen to disagree with your view, I still respect your argument. SpheralCobra (talk) 01:49, 16 June 2022 (UTC)
I did mention edit summary on the page before publishing. It just happened that the edit summary didn't get posted. Teslafan626 (talk) 03:13, 16 June 2022 (UTC)
Your reverting the Crisp Sandwich page
[edit]None of the cited references substantiate the article's claim that the potato chip sandwich, aka crisp sandwich, originated in either the UK or Ireland. Moreover, there is ample evidence to suggest that the potato chip sandwich originated in the United States, with published recipes dating back at least 70 years, although it's likely to have appeared much earlier. It is no less a dietary staple in the States than elsewhere. The article as written is pushing a cultural narrative that is misleading and should probably be completely rewritten for accuracy. As such, the article's factuality is now in dispute and a discussion section has been added.
ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
