Peer Review: Social Media in Public Admin
In this peer review I examined Social Media in Public Administration and how it’s applied to the public sector. The article headings and main key points are listed and include basic information on social media, fundraising, events in the community, promoting organizations and campaigning. However, these main key points are not summarized in the lead section of the article. The structure of the headings are very clear and concise and the information given for each section provides evidence and examples. My suggestion to the group would be to add photos to the article to give readers a more visual idea of the concept. Throughout the article I also found grammatical errors and incorrect sentence structures. Also one of the headings are missing a letter. Positively, this article is straightforward and does not contain unsourced opinions but provides pros and cons behind the concept. This helps the reader gain a full understanding of how social media effects public sector negatively and positively. Overall, the group in my opinion deserves a rating of 4. Not only did the group provide efficient evidence that supported social media in Public Administration but also structured the article in a way for readers to grasp the concept easier. Great Job Overall.
