Edits to Indiana University Natatorium article
[edit]Hi @Sperjohn, I saw that you tried to move User:Sperjohn/sandbox to mainspace when an article on the Indiana University Natatorium already exists.
Instead of creating a duplicate article, you need to make improvements to the existing Wikipedia article. If you need a refresher on how to do this, please review this training module. Some things to keep in mind: When you add content to an article, think about how they work with the rest of the text. When you add information, make sure that information isn't already presented somewhere else in the article. If you're replacing text, make sure you don't remove anything important (unless it's not accurate). Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Indianapolis tennis center & IU Michael A. Carroll Track & Soccer Stadium
[edit]Hi @Sperjohn, I noticed you've been busy on the mainspace with Indianapolis Tennis Center related articles. Since an article on the Indianapolis Tennis Center already exists, any edits should be made to that existing article, not to the redirect pages. The same goes for any edits to the existing IU Michael A. Carroll Track & Soccer Stadium article.
Please let me know if you have any questions. See my above message for tips on editing existing articles. Looping in @Guiliaje. Brianda (Wiki Ed) (talk) 19:30, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
The article Innovation Hall has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Nothing to indicate that this is a significant building per WP:NBUILDING or WP:GNG
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. SmartSE (talk) 08:40, 7 November 2023 (UTC)

It's possible that this would be better placed in the context of the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, but the two articles have been written to keep a separate focus, and there is probably enough material to justify keeping them separate.

Deletion discussion about Indiana University Informatics & Communications Technology Complex
[edit]Hello Sperjohn, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Indiana University Informatics & Communications Technology Complex, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Indiana University Informatics & Communications Technology Complex.
Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Triptothecottage}}
. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

[edit]Hi Sperjohn. Thank you for your work on William H. Coleman Hall. Another editor, Klbrain, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:
While sparsely referenced, from 3 sources (and mostly from Schneider), it does seem reasonable to discuss the former hospital and its history, important through much of the 20th century. Appropriately linked and integrated.
