Vandalism
[edit]- This edit by you was not the reversion of vandalism. It was the (re-)introduction of it. Semi-automated editing tools require careful use. Please use them more carefully than you are. Uncle G 18:26, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
Walt Disney World Monorail System
[edit]Regarding the content dispute over Walt Disney World Monorail System, please remember to assume good faith with other editors. Reverting another editor's revert and calling it "vandalism" [1] is generally considered to be bad form. While many of us are frustrated over this article's content dispute, declaring the edits of other established editors to be vandalism only escalates emotions. Thanks, Kralizec! [edit]Thanks for bringing back my revert of Fallston High School. I gave User:12.173.107.73 a final warning after that vandalism, and I'm watching to see if he vandalizes again. He seems to have a problem with Notable Alumni on High School pages. Jru Gordon 21:20, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

Main page
[edit]Hi there; I have absolutely no complaint, and am full of admiration. Quite seriously. I was right there; how did you find the main page vandalism before me? Do you know something I don't? --Anthony.bradbury"talk" 18:33, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
- OK. As I said, I was absolutely admiring, not ctiticising. Get another 2,000 edits and apply for RfA. I will support you.--Anthony.bradbury"talk" 18:37, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
- It is sometimes difficult, in this medium where one cannot express intonation, to avoid giving the impression of criticism. I meant none, nor did I mean to imply it. I was simply congratulating you for being faster to the punch than I was. And, as I said, looking forward to supporting your RfA as soon as you have enough edits on your record to satisfy the community.--Anthony.bradbury"talk" 21:07, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for making a report about 24.176.228.255 (talk · contribs · block log) at Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, administrators generally only block users if they have received a recent final warning (one that mentions that the user may be blocked) and they have recently vandalized after that warning was given. The reported user has not yet been blocked because it appears this has not occurred yet. If this user continues to vandalize after their final warning, please report them to the AIV noticeboard again. Thank you. GoodnightmushTalk 04:03, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

Twinkle
[edit]Hi! How did you get your Twinkle edit summary to be the way you got it? If you take a look here you can see that I didn't get the same summary as you... — H92 (t · c · no) 22:57, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
- I always clear my cache, and I always purge the monobook.js-page too. ;aybe I'm a bit stupid, but how do I make it say "Reverted edits by XX identified as YY to last revision by ZZ", and not "Reverted edits to version XXXXXXXX by YY"? — H92 (t · c · no) 23:07, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
- I got it, but the only thing I see is "[restore this version]" in brown. If you mean the buttons like "edit this page" and that when you say "at the top", the only thing I see is: warn, arv, csd, last, since, since mine, rpp, xfd. Is it possible for you to make a screenshot? Then I think/hope it would be easier... — H92 (t · c · no) 17:09, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
Yea
[edit]that editing i did, i just deleted a page of Gibberish. so next look at what i deleted before you warn me. -and to make it better you just put the page back up with the Gibberish. seriously look at stuff before you act.

The title says it all. I am requesting your opinion only because you've edited the Sicko (film) article and therefore appear to have an interest in the movie. [edit]Hi, thank you for helping fight vandalism by reverting 68.200.93.119 to the US Declaration of Independence however, this was that IPs first edit a final warning might be violating WP:DBN. Re:Question
[edit]Hi Spartan! I never really done this before, but how about modifying the script below. It's from a notice that a bot wrote to the creator of the page.
Notability of Asian Dawn
[edit]Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Asian Dawn, by Kww (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Asian Dawn seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Asian Dawn, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it did not nominate Asian Dawn itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 01:50, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

Question
[edit]I recieved the following message from you " Welcome to Wikipedia. Although we invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Black supremacy, was not constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Spartan-James 02:41, 28 June 2007 (UTC) The edit you are refering to in Black Supremacy was a vandalism correction. I corrected a statement that Yahweh ben Yahweh made his male followers watch films involving animals, not Tony Danza as stated on the vandelized page and the only other edit I've made was to the Fay School entry involving a nazi plot against the students in the early 21st century. So....what were the reverts and why? I am in no way questioning the reasoning. I'm just looking for something constructive.--CourtneySea 01:51, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
Reports to WP:AIV
[edit]Thanks for helping with vandalism, but I think you are clicking a few too many checkboxes on TW. For example, with your report here, you have vandalism directly after release of block, actions evidently indicate a vandalism only account, account is evidently a spambot or a compromized account. None of these items are correct. The IP was not previously blocked, nor can an IP really be an "vandalism only account" nor compromised, and there is not evidence of it being a spambot since it's not spamming. I did block the IP, but it would be helpful to admins if you only check the appropriate boxes. -- Gogo Dodo 03:15, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
- Re your message: No worries. Keep up the good work. =) -- Gogo Dodo 20:31, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
Please help me protect the article of "Buddhism by country"
[edit]Last some days, the user named Bikeable has been editing the article of Buddhism by country because he hate Buddhism (I knew him in a religious forum,he is a Vietnamese Christian extremist,he is oversea Vietnamese in USA)!Can you help me to protect it?Add it on your watchlist. That article is the result of mine (58.186.233.71),Chow Zhang Qui and yours with many people!
When I create new topic with the link of List of religious population. He was very angry when he knows his religion (Christianity) is under around 1.6-1.85 billion, not 2.1 billion as he thinked!!!And he was edited the religious percentage in Vietnam (10% Buddhists,15% Christians,v.v...)!
- I'm copying the reply here that I left at User_talk:Vexorg: Please do keep an eye on it. I don't know where the venom above came from, but you'll see that I changed the estimate of Buddhists in China from a whopping 80%, unsupported by any sources, to 8%, the number cited on the Talk page, from the US State Department's Religious Freedom report. I gave detailed reasons on the Talk page. The whole page is extremely questionable, but using the figure of 80% gives an estimate of Buddhists literally a billion higher than any others. I plan to propose on the Talk page a reformatting, since the numbers are (as you recognize) for the most part unsourced. As for the stuff about my being an angry Vietnamese Christian extremist -- that's probably the weirdest thing that's ever been said about me, and I've no idea where it came from. Thanks for your attention. best, bikeable (talk) 03:43, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry about the blanking -- how weird. I think the page didn't load completely; my net connection was flaky yesterday and I recall that your talk page looked incomplete. My apologies. bikeable (talk) 16:29, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
