Poverty in India
[edit]Hello,
I added a section in the topic "Poverty in India" that indicates that the Government of India organozation named NCEUS made a wrong computation in calculating poverty from NSSO data. As a result of this mistake, deliberate or otherwise, everyone thinks that 77% of Indians spend less than Rs 20 per day. My computations show that the true figure is 62% which is a whooping 15% less. I emailed the Prime Minister and other misnisters as well and my emails were bounced. This is a terrible lie being perpetrated by media across the world. I provided a link to my computations.
Could you explain to me why you deleted that section? Did you find that NCEUS computations were indeed correct?

- You have made your own data analysis and reasoning/modelling, which is not allowed per WP:OR. Blnguyen (bananabucket) 01:58, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
