Emptying the sea with a spoon
Checking out the massive additions by an IP of actors etc to the List of Brahmins page, I discovered not only that the sample I looked at are all unsourced, and their Wikipedia pages say nothing about being Brahmins, but also that, per their own pages, pretty much all Nepali actors are the best and most famous actor in the world. I removed a few peacock claims, but it's like emptying the sea with a spoon. Say woof to your edit notice dog from me! Bishonen | talk 12:27, 12 December 2017 (UTC).
- I've semi protected under GS/Caste, all such lists need semi now I think, I had to do it for another couple lists over the past few days, the Brahmin list in particular is the work of socks, just that there's too many of them to keep track and block. But this is more like emptying with a fork, given our policies! —SpacemanSpiff 12:44, 12 December 2017 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) I've long had the feeling that administrators should have the option to indef-semi or indef-EC-protect any page related to caste, religious nationalism, or the India-Pakistan conflict, at the slightest sign of trouble. The amount of nonsense (socking, POV-pushing, unsourced content, puffery, copyvio) that goes on is incredible, and we do not have the tools to stop most of it. How do we make this happen? Vanamonde (talk) 13:41, 12 December 2017 (UTC)
- You do have the option to do that for caste pages per WP:GS/Caste and ECP for caste pages per the AE discussion on that (Bish might have the link to that discussion, but you should be able to find it in the AE archives from a couple of years back). Doesn't cover religion though. Unfortunately, I still can't get myself to do the indefs, the longest I do is for a year. —SpacemanSpiff 13:45, 12 December 2017 (UTC)
- I'd forgotten about that: thanks for the link. It's been a while since I've dealt with caste stuff. I'm actually thinking about making a serious effort to get similar measures authorized for religious conflict/religious nationalism stuff. I'm not sure how to go about it just yet, but I'm sure you agree it's necessary...Vanamonde (talk) 14:59, 14 December 2017 (UTC)

Dr.Vir
Dr.Vir (talk · contribs) is back making edits such as this. Despite previous notes and sanctions alerts, they do not seem to be grasping WP:V. - Sitush (talk) 20:39, 15 December 2017 (UTC)
- RP has given a final warning now and no edits since then, I'll block if I see any behavior repeated. —SpacemanSpiff 04:15, 16 December 2017 (UTC)
NLT
See here. They've already been warned about WP:NLT but seem to want to insert an extended citation request for something in the lead that is dealt with in the body. - Sitush (talk) 10:42, 20 December 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks for blocking but they're now socking. - Sitush (talk) 15:01, 20 December 2017 (UTC)

(or a NOTHERE block), possibly: [1]. I've given them an ARBIPA notice, and they've continued to behave poorly. See this, for instance. Vanamonde (talk) 08:47, 29 December 2017 (UTC)
History of rawana rajput
The main responsibility of the Kshatriya character of the ancient Aryan culture was to protect and rule.It was the duty of the Kshatriyans to maintain the existence of the state by fighting the enemies in terms of security and to protect the people and to serve the people in terms of governance. These people of Kshatriya Charitas were divided into countless castes. Rajput caste is one of them.
In the ancient times, the king had many sons, and the kingdom was not divided among the Rajputs. Therefore, the eldest son of the king(Raja) was the successor of the kingdom and was called the King. His remaining sons were called princes (Rajputra) because of the son of the king. In time, the word rajputra became a reader or caste and was called Rajput. After the father's death, the elder brother became the king and the remaining younger brother started working in different positions in the service of the king The king also kept his trusted and faithful people in important and responsible positions, and who could be more trusted and loyal than his younger brothers? Therefore, the best and important positions of the state such as recovery of revenue, leadership of the army, suppressing the state's rebellion, the king's trusted bodyguard, the custody of the ninja etc. etc were used by his younger brothers. "Thus, the eldest son of the king became a Rajput after being a successor and his younger brother Raval was called. It was a title of 'Raaval' and the form of 'Raval' got spoiled and became 'Ravla' and this was the reflection of 'Ravana'.
Ancient Arya people~>Kshatriya + brhamn + kshudra + vesya
Kshatriya~> Rajput and Rawana Rajput So we are Rawana Rajput
Ravana Rajput is a society of glorious Kshatriya class, which keeps its separate existence due to country-love, renunciation, bravery, dignity, affection and country service. This class of Rajputs has its own glorious past and history. Rawanawiki (talk) 08:52, 29 December 2017 (UTC)
