[edit]Hello, I'm TylerBurden. I noticed that you recently removed content from Martin Ødegaard without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Oh, I just wanted to point out that, as he is also a central midfielder, maybe midfielder could cover both. SpaceCowboy1207 (talk) 21:21, 12 May 2022 (UTC)
- That is understandable, I don't doubt your edit was in good faith. However, the issue is that like the notice says, you left no edit summary explaining this, and you also removed the sources for him being an attacking midfielder, while not replacing them with one stating that he is simply a general midfielder, leaving his position unsourced. As you may know WP:CITE is an important part of Wikipedia espescially when it comes to articles about living people, so if you could find a reliable source describing him as simply a midfielder rather than attacking midfielder you could make the edit including the source, replacing the old one. TylerBurden (talk) 21:28, 12 May 2022 (UTC)
I saw that many players did not have a source on the position, but is okay, I'll try to find a source next time, ty ;) SpaceCowboy1207 (talk) 21:30, 12 May 2022 (UTC)
- Then their position is not verifiable, and could easily be removed on that basis by anyone that wants to. Glad to hear that though, cheers and happy editing. TylerBurden (talk) 21:33, 12 May 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to FC Barcelona, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. The transfer has not happened until the contract is signed and he passes his medical. —C.Fred (talk) 19:03, 17 July 2022 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at FC Barcelona, you may be blocked from editing. Per Barcelona's website, the contact won't be signed until 1 August. Mattythewhite (talk) 13:17, 30 July 2022 (UTC)
MOS:OVERLINK
[edit]Hi there. Please be aware of MOS:OVERLINK which says to not link "names of subjects with which most readers will be at least somewhat familiar", for example countries like France or cities like Paris. I have removed the link at Jules Koundé. Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 07:28, 25 July 2022 (UTC)
August 2022
[edit]You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at FC Barcelona. Mattythewhite (talk) 18:34, 15 August 2022 (UTC)
This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Keylor Navas, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Unsourced content. Mattythewhite (talk) 19:00, 15 August 2022 (UTC)
ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
