Question for Bbb23

[edit]

User:Bbb23 you blocked me based on a sockpuppet investigation initiated by a user named Drmies. According to the Checkuser rules: "Fishing" is to check an account where there is no credible evidence to suspect sockpuppetry. Checks are inappropriate unless there is evidence suggesting abusive sock-puppetry. The initial account of User:D.Belford, which Drmies apparently ran a checkuser on, showed no credible evidence of sock-puppetry. Since Drmies violated checkuser policy, why have you not banned or at least temporarily blocked Drmies for this abuse of checkuser privileges and for ignoring the rules and policies of Wikipedia? If you choose to not take any action against user Drmies, I may alert other higher-up admins (possibly Jimbo Wales) of what appears to be blatant double-standards and censorship taking place on WP. If I am incorrect please let me know where I am wrong, thanks...Soviev (talk) 02:49, 12 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

User:Bbb23 I tried in good faith (approx. 24 hours ago) to ask if fishing was allowed on WP in relation to a user performing a checkuser search. You have not responded. Since you refuse to explain if anything unscrupulous was done by Drmies I will assume you are OK with what he did (even though checkuser policy clearly states that what Drmies did is not allowed on Wikipedia).

One more thing, User:Bbb23 if you are operating in good faith, as both an admin and checkuser, would you be okay with me listing several usernames here that show clear evidence of not just sockpuppetry, but rampant abusive sockpuppetry, and would you look into those accounts? Soviev (talk) 03:01, 13 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. none of the multiple accounts I have used on WP were used to abuse, tag-team, or coordinate on any article as I'm sure you can see from the evidence you have on me. The users I am aware of likely use multiple different accounts (again there is evidence of this) in order to abusively slant articles in a certain direction. They also seem to use tactics like WP:LAWYER and WP:TAGTEAM. For the record, the only reason I've used multiple accounts on WP (I would prefer to simply use one single account to edit) is to avoid scrutiny from these duplicitous users who unfortunately seem to have free-rein as they continue to abuse Wikipedia. Soviev (talk) 03:21, 13 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

....pinging other involved admins (User:Sir_Sputnik, User:Ivanvector)...if you can help in any way it would be greatly appreciated, thank you...Soviev (talk) 07:07, 13 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sure... that's going to work. A cu-blocked account complaining that it was only socking to avoid scrutiny by admins, and threatening to raise the issue with Jimbo. Meters (talk) 07:19, 13 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Incorrect. I wanted to avoid scrutiny from other non-admin users who abuse and censor other users like myself from contributing to wikipedia articles (with apparent cooperation from like-minded admins). That is why I am posting here, hoping there are some good faith non-activist admins still left on WP that may be able to help. Yes I may alert User:Jimbo Wales but that would only be as a last resort, besides I'm sure he is busy with other things. Soviev (talk) 07:27, 13 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
One more thing...the large majority of my edits to Wikipedia had nothing to do with political issues. The problem I ran into (about a year ago) is that it became very obvious that a cabal of ideological and biased editors/admins are allowed to run rampant and abuse this encyclopedia for some reason (w/o any repercussions), especially American politics related articles. I realize posting here is most likely futile, but I figured I would at least try to let any good-faith non-ideological admins know what is going on. One of the most common problems is users who are obviously like-minded politically collaborating on various articles. If you are interested I can provide evidence of this so you don't think I'm just some crazy person spouting off on a Wikipedia talk page Soviev (talk) 08:51, 13 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
