RfA Thankspam

Thanks to everyone who took the time and trouble to take part in my RfA whether support, oppose or neutral. All comments are valued and will be considered carefully in the coming weeks. Feel free to add more advice on my talk page if you think I need it. SpinningSpark 01:13, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
In case you're wondering, the image is a smiley, just a little more aesthetic, but not as serious as the Mona Lisa

Thank you!

Thank you for the Barnstar. I dont know that I recognize any articles that we have worked on together, but perhaps we will do so in the future! -- The Red Pen of Doom 02:36, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

Belated thanks

Belated thanks for the barnstar and for your support for my RfA (which turned out to be far more contentious than I had thought it might be). You and I seldom interact directly, but we move in similar circles -- let's both continue! --Orlady (talk) 22:07, 26 April 2009 (UTC)

Seattle population ranking

I've reverted your changing of Seattle's population ranking from 24th to 26th for now. The source provided in the article and the one on List of United States cities by population (same source) list Seattle as the 24th largest in the US. I'm certainly not denying that Seattle is the 26th largest city now, but before you change the ranking, you need to provide the source for your rank change. I checked the US census page and they only have the 2007 numbers up right now and a quick search of google news came up with nothing. --Bobblehead (rants) 20:27, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

thanks

Thank you for the Barnstar -- I shall endeavour to merit it. Collect (talk) 11:32, 9 May 2009 (UTC)

RfA Thanks

Thank you for supporting me in my recent RfA, which unfortunately did not pass with a final tally of (45/39/9). I plan on addressing the concerns raised and working to improve in the next several months. Special thanks go to MBisanz, GT5162, and MC10 for nominating me. Thank you for the feedback

Unfortunately, my RFA was closed today with a final tally of 75½/38/10. Though it didn't succeed, I wanted to thank you for your participation in it. I intend to review the support, oppose, and neutral !votes and see what I can do to address those concerns. Special thanks go to Schmidt, MICHAEL Q., TomStar81, and henrik for their co-nominations and support. — BQZip01 — talk 20:15, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

Your "clean up" edit removed the TfD, making it a clear violation of guidelines. Please be more careful. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 22:04, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

If your going to put it up for deletion make sure you do it right, I still don't see a log? thanks South Bay (talk) 22:54, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
It appears it wasn't a complete nomination. Perhaps he couldn't figure out how to complete it because you reversed the pointer while he was working on it. Anyway, I'll complete the nomination within an hour.... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Arthur Rubin (talkcontribs) 23:39, May 19, 2009

ThankSpam

My RfA

Thank you for participating in my "RecFA", which passed with a final tally of 153/39/22. There were issues raised regarding my adminship that I intend to cogitate upon, but I am grateful for the very many supportive comments I received and for the efforts of certain editors (Ceoil, Noroton and Lar especially) in responding to some issues. I wish to note how humbled I was when I read Buster7's support comment, although a fair majority gave me great pleasure. I would also note those whose opposes or neutral were based in process concerns and who otherwise commented kindly in regard to my record.
I recognise that the process itself was unusual, and the format was generally considered questionable - and I accept that I was mistaken in my perception of how it would be received - but I am particularly grateful for those whose opposes and neutrals were based in perceptions of how I was not performing to the standards expected of an administrator. As much as the support I received, those comments are hopefully going to allow me to be a better contributor to the project. Thank you. Very much. LessHeard vanU (talk) 18:36, 24 May 2009 (UTC)
