Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page History of tablet computers has been reverted.
Your edit here to History of tablet computers was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://tabletuniten.weebly.com/history.html) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 06:15, 28 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked temporarily from editing for adding spam links. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia and potentially penalized by search engines. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you insert a spam link. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. • Hello Sonugupta001, please stop adding spammy external links to commercial sites and blogs to Wikipedia, and read WP:EL and WP:RS for more information. Wikipedia is no PR platform and we do not accept backlinks to "useful" commercial sites and blogs. If you do not understand these guidelines, you can ask on my user talkpage or at WP:Teahouse for additional advice. Considering the first block and the blatant spamming for a muscleblaze.com product site, your next block would likely be indefinite. GermanJoe (talk) 13:14, 17 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Adding inapproriate links Hello, Sorry for this inapproriate link adding as I am new to this & I was trying to build links as many blogs I read saying that you can build links through wikipedia so i tried randomly selected website to test whether this strategy works. I am new to this & I dont have a knowledge of how Wikipedia editing works. I apologize for this inconvenience behaviour. I am requesting for the unblock & I promise that I won't do it again.

Decline reason:

You are not "new to this"; you have been doing it since 2017. You were blocked for it in 2018, and you have also received several messages about it, from June 2017 to October 2019, so you certainly knew full well that it wasn't acceptable. If you were testing to see whether the strategy worked, a few trial edits would have done that: you would have had no reason to keep on doing it for years. Since you have promised you won't add spam links again, and until now that is virtually well all you have done, there is no point in unblocking you unless you have some other kind of editing in mind. If you have, then tell us what, so we can judge whether it is something that will be worth unblocking you for. Unless and until you do so the only thing about this block which seems to me to be reasonably subject to review is that it is for so short a time, in view of your persistence in spamming over several years, despite warnings and an earlier block. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

For what reason were you adding such links? Are you associated with the subjects you were editing about? What edits do you want to make if unblocked? 331dot (talk) 15:53, 12 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I am accepting that I was trying to spam the Wikipedia & I don't have any bad intentions with it. I was trying to build some links from the wikipedia & was testing if this will works. I know that this is a spam activity adding un-appropriate links & editing and I am embarrassed from my behaviour. I am requesting you to please unblock my account for the last time & I will promise you you won't get any further spammy activity from myside and I will be follow the guidelines stated by the wikipedia community. Although the website, that I have added links was not mine & hence requesting you to mark that website as non-spam as well. Please, accept this as a request & I pledge I won't follow such type of activity from now onwards. hoping you will understand & it's a huge request!

Decline reason:

You clearly did have bad intentions. As has been previously pointed out to you, you weren't just testing to see if you could actively harm Wikipedia because you already knew this. That you are trying to justify the links you were adding shows we need to leave you blocked to prevent you doing even more harm to Wikipedia. Yamla (talk) 14:13, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
