User talk:Sonic80
Welcome!
[edit]We hope you like this place and decide to stay.
Before getting too in-depth, you may want to read about the Five pillars of Wikipedia and simplified ruleset.
If you need help on how to title new articles check out the naming conventions, and for help on formatting the pages visit the manual of style. If you need help look at Wikipedia:Help and the FAQ , plus if you can't find your answer there, check the Village Pump (for Wikipedia related questions) or the Reference Desk (for general questions)! There's still more help at the Tutorial and Policy Library.
Plus, don't forget to visit the Community Portal. And if you have any more questions after that, feel free to post them on my user talk page.
Additional tips
[edit]Here's some extra tips to help you get around in the 'pedia!

- Please sign and date your entries on talk pages using four tildes like this: ~~~~
- You may want to add yourself to the new user log.
- If you'd like to improve your wikipedia skills, check out the Bootcamp. It's fun.
- If you're bored and want to find something to do, check out the Open Task message in the Community Portal.
Happy Wiki-ing.

Image copyright problem with Image:Kamemon2.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Kamemon2.gif. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 08:53, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
Welcome to WikiProject Digimon Systems Update
[edit]Thanks for joining the Digimon Systems Update WikiProject!
Basically, being apart of a WP:DIGI means you'll help organize, expand, clean up, and guide Digimon related articles on Wikipedia. You can also help create guidelines and discuss issues about Digimon-related articles. If you're new, don't be afraid about making mistakes, Wikipedia has a lot to take in. Just use common sense and you'll usually be fine.
If you are unsure about something you can always make a note on an article's talk page (the link for each article's talk page is next to the edit this page link, labeled discussion) for asking for help or even just asking for other people's suggestions and feedback.
Remember to not violate copyrights, such as cutting and pasting exact info from other Digimon websites isn't allowed. (You can still use the information, just rewritten.) Cite ALL information you add (where your information came from, such as an anime episode appearance, manga volume, card game info, etc). And remember that Wikipedia isn't a fan-site; the articles should contain information that is useful and interesting to those who have not seen the shows or played the card games.
Again, welcome to the WikiProject. Check out the links on the Project page and familiarize yourself with the guidelines and advice we have so far, and definitely check out the talk page and get involved there as well, with opinions and any ideas you have. And make sure you add the project page and the to do list to your watchlist so you can keep up to date with the Project. -- Ned Scott 07:25, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Gawappamon.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Gawappamon.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ShakespeareFan00 18:08, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
Hi, thank you uploading Image:Gawappamon.jpg, However there appears to be a minor problem with the image, It would be apprecaitd that if the image is a screencapture, you could add information on the source media (i.e Video/TV/DVD/film) to the image usmmary along with the timecode of the relevant frame. Image copyright problem with Image:Gawappamon.png
[edit]Thank you for uploading Image:Gawappamon.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. BigrTex 21:41, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Gawappamon.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Gawappamon.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 04:29, 11 July 2011 (UTC)
