[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contribution(s). I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, while user talk pages permit a small degree of generalisation, other talk pages are strictly for discussing the topic of their associated main pages and many of them have special instructions on the top. They are not a general discussion forum about unrelated topics. If you have questions or ideas and are not sure where to post them, consider asking at the Teahouse. You appear to be confused as to what Wikipedia is. One of the many things it is not is a social media website. Please read WP:NOTFORUM. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 15:45, 30 August 2022 (UTC)
- um...can you explain that to me? Somecoolguy12345 (talk) 15:46, 30 August 2022 (UTC)
- You are treating Wikipedia like something similar to Discord. Some small chit chat is fine, however it appears that is all you are here to do. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 15:47, 30 August 2022 (UTC)
- in that case i have some things to say about August of this year! Somecoolguy12345 (talk) 15:50, 30 August 2022 (UTC)
- it started on a Monday, will end on a Wednesday, and has 31 days Somecoolguy12345 (talk) 15:52, 30 August 2022 (UTC)
- In case it wasn't clear, the other editors are saying that Wikipedia and its talk pages are NOT a place to chit-chat. The phrase "it appears that is all you are here to do" is not a compliment! Discord was mentioned because it IS a place where you can chat.
- You can certainly contribute to Wikipedia, but adding a comment like "and in the future merging to become the United States of Europe" into the History of the European Union article is not constructive or helpful. I don't mean to be too harsh, given your young age, but this is a serious encyclopedia project. Cheers. 71.228.112.175 (talk) 05:09, 31 August 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you IP. I hope the user understands what I mean now. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 13:02, 31 August 2022 (UTC)
- OK. i understand Somecoolguy12345 (talk) 17:17, 31 August 2022 (UTC)
- I always find that your comments are clear, helpful, and well-thought-out. If this editor is willing to learn, he (I assume he) has a chance to help the project.
- I need to create an account (soon). 71.228.112.175 (talk) 06:00, 1 September 2022 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Spring Mill, Kentucky. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 16:15, 30 August 2022 (UTC)

i can't think of a good title
[edit]what if you can't find anything good to edit? then what do you do? Somecoolguy12345 (talk) 00:16, 17 September 2022 (UTC)
- I can't find lots of good things to edit. I don't know about you. You can click "Random article", on the left. Or you can think about the things that you know something about, if there are indeed things you know something about. If there isn't, maybe you should just play Splatoon 3. Drmies (talk) 00:21, 17 September 2022 (UTC)
- i don't have that Somecoolguy12345 (talk) 00:23, 17 September 2022 (UTC)

Please don't say "rip queen elizabeth"
[edit]Please don't say "rip queen elizabeth" on Talk:Death and state funeral of Elizabeth II. Everyone here already knows that she's dead; no need to repeat it. Thanks. And (Redacted) please read our guidance for younger editors. A diehard editor (talk | edits) 00:42, 17 September 2022 (UTC)
Talk pages
[edit]Stop using article pages for discussion not relating to the improvement of the article. This edit adds nothing to the discussion and is disruptive. If you continue, you can and will be blocked. -- LuK3 (Talk) 01:38, 17 September 2022 (UTC)
