[edit]Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. -- ferret (talk) 01:55, 5 February 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop. If you continue to add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did at Deepfake pornography, you may be blocked from editing. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. [edit]Hello, I'm Soetermans. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Eroge have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 11:39, 28 January 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hello You blocked my last edit on this page, but just above my addition is this link https://www.eurogamer.net/the-bluffers-guide-to-hentai-games-article. That page has content that looks like a text from a spin rewriter. My addition (https://animehentaihub.com/hentai-games/) is more meaningful and useful for a reader. Was that link inserted by paying to a moderator? Regards SomeWeb (talk) 11:49, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
- Please keep discussions in one place. I reverted your edit, because, ahem, "animehentaihub.com/hentai-games" is not necessary. You have been warned repeatedly for adding inappropriate external links, this shouldn't come as a suprise. Paying to a moderator? What are you talking about? soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 11:55, 28 January 2024 (UTC)

- OK. SEO is a separate subject. But you haven't answered me how eurogamer.net's link contributes Wikipedia? It is obviously low quality content. SomeWeb (talk) 05:18, 29 January 2024 (UTC)
- Eurogamer is considered a reliable source. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 05:58, 29 January 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hi, I'm Serge, an Admin here on Wikipedia. Your edits, and subsequent warnings amassed on your talk page , would suggest you don't understand what sort of sources Wikipedia identifies as reliable and usable. Rather than seemingly trying to put this responsibility on Soetermans to prove to you, you need to take initiative yourself in learning how to identify reliable sources. Until you understand how to identify them yourself, you can look at lists like WP:VG/S or WP:ANIME/RS for lots of examples of usable or unusable sources. You can also ask questions on their talk pages to see other people's opinions on sources too.
Please take this to heart. If you don't stop making these mistakes, you may find your account eventually blocked from editing. Sergecross73 msg me 12:20, 2 February 2024 (UTC)
