How to automate reverting?

[edit]

It's about Skechers song. As per Rolling Stones the artist is Pakistani-American but people keep changing it to Indian-American. I even added a comment, undone the edits so many times but people kept changing. People even started changing the comment. I think it's just one person who kept doing it again and again. Is there a way I can automate that it automatically revert back if someone changes it to Indian-American?

There is no way to automatically revert what appears to be a valid edit(it's unlikely the anti-vandalism bots would be able to detect such edits). You can request page protection at WP:RFPP. 331dot (talk) 14:40, 1 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stage K moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Stage K, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Your draft article, Draft:Stage K

[edit]

Hello, SochneyDe. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Stage K".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 18:12, 3 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

IP block exempt

[edit]

I have granted your account an exemption from IP blocking. This will allow you to edit the English Wikipedia through full blocks affecting your IP address when you are logged in.

Please read the page Wikipedia:IP block exemption carefully, especially the section on IP block exemption conditions. Inappropriate usage of this user right may result in revocation. I hope this will enhance your editing, and allow you to edit successfully and without disruption. Yamla (talk) 11:31, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

sorry, but i forgot to select global ban. currently i can only edit english wikipedia, not the others such as wikidata or wikimedia. kindly unblock me all sites. SochneyDe (talk) 13:07, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm unable to do so. You need to ask on each project. --Yamla (talk) 15:45, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Majiko moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Majiko. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it's massively unsourced and has few or no solid independent reliable sources; nor is there any indication that this person passes WP:NARTIST. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 19:30, 26 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:37, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
