No problem. Could/should I have done something differently to avoid misleading you? --SoCalDonF (talk) 18:35, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
This was just me misreading what happened on the page. I think I just got in a hurry and wasn't paying attention to what I was doing. A new name 2008 (talk) 18:41, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edit of Tom Short

[edit]

With this edit, you reverted an edit I requested on the article's talk page, which was carried out by another editor, and which was fully explained in the edit summary. Yet your edit summary says the reversion was due to "unexplained removal of content". Something seems amiss. Would you please reconsider whether the content you restored actually belongs in the article? It is a copy of a section of the Great Commission church movement article; the information in that section is not specifically about Tom Short. Thanks, SoCalDonF (talk) 07:41, 4 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hiyas there SoCalDonF,
I think i managed to make a mistake on this page. I remember that i reverted that particular edit on the page yesterday since it removed a large section of content (And references) without a reason in the edit summary. Looking at the pages history i see that there actually is an edit summary that entirely explains that edit, so the only explanation i have is that i must have stared straight past it.
I reverted the faulty revert, so the article should now be in its correct state again. And of course - apologies for the mistake :) Excirial (Contact me,Contribs) 08:17, 4 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ardour

[edit]

Hi! I'm sorry for improper syntax. The problem is that I'm not a native speaker of English, my primary language is Polish, so I might have big problems with correct usage of English, like with strange characters, like $, which are used in this language to mark currency of USA and other states. In case of "This makes Ardour an example of commercial free-libre software" statement, to be honest, I'm free software fanatic and fundamentalist and, writing this sentence, I obviously didn't want to make harm to the Ardour project. Being commercial free program is in case of Ardour undeniable fact, so there are no problems with POV. It's knowledge. If some piece of free software is selled, and that's a fact in case of Ardour, this is commercial libre software. Here you can read about commercial free software (the last chapter): https://www.gnu.org/philosophy/categories.en.html . I even think that it's a very good thing that Ardour is simultaneously free and commercial, I'm proud of any commercial free program. It shows, that one can write software that respects users' four freedoms and make money doing that. I wrote that statement in the article to underline that important fact, which ipeople should know. We must fight with perceiving free-libre software as free of charge software, it's a bad stereotype. In fact, in most cases one can pay for free software as much as she wish. In case of Ardour, there's minimal amount of money which must be paid, making Ardour wonderful commercial free program. --Uniwersalista (talk) 21:42, 17 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
