helpme
Hi Snroy -- I just wanted to let you know regarding the template {{Wikiproject Indian cities}} that this template should appear on the talk page of the related article, not the article itself. So while I appreciate you looking after Rourkela I've reverted your changes back to my version. Thanks a lot, and if you have any other questions please do feel free to contact me at my talk page. Image copyright problem with Image:Hanuman2.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Hanuman2.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator.
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you have questions about copyright tagging of images, post on Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags or User talk:Carnildo/images. 04:29, 8 March 2006 (UTC)

tell me about basic editing Snroy 12:12, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
- The links in the list above (in your welcome message) can give you general information about editing. I'd just recommend jumping in and making an article better (eg fixing typos, adding information). Remember to use an edit summary, because it helps other editors understand your edits. If you have more specific questions I'd be happy to answer them.--Commander Keane 12:17, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
how can i delete a image i uploaded Snroy 12:20, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
- If you uploaded it by mistake, you could place something like
{{deletebecause|I Uploaded it by mistake}}
on the image page and an admistrator will delete it. Or (since I'm an admin), you can just tell me the name of the image and the reason why you need it deleted.--Commander Keane 12:26, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
Astronomy
[edit]You say that you are interested in astronomy. Do you know a resource for a beginner in astronomy? I am very much interested in astronomy and want to know a lot about it. —vedant (talk • contribs) 08:00, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
Biggest resource will be of course wikipedia, go to astronomy portal. You can also visit www.nasa.gov, www.astronomy.com, www.astronomynow.com Snroy 09:21, 18 March 2006 (UTC)

Ten Sports
[edit]I guess someone thought it was a joke or something. Joke pages appear fairly frequently, and short stubs may be flushed out cos they look a bit like joke pages. Still, I saved it, no harm done Sam Vimes 13:31, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
[edit]SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways, from comparing articles that need work to other articles you've edited, to choosing articles randomly (ensuring that all articles with cleanup tags get a chance to be cleaned up). It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot 00:34, 21 March 2006 (UTC)
Removing content from my talk page
[edit]Can't understand why you removed content from my talk page. And that too anonymously. I apologize for being rude earlier when we had talked. —vedant (talk • contribs) 07:22, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
- Oh, okay. It seems my behavior is completely different now from what it was an year ago. Looking back at my comments I have made, I see how rude they were. I apologize. —vedant (talk • contribs) 17:10, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:HanumanVatika.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading Image:HanumanVatika.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Shell babelfish 19:39, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
The file File:Igpark.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
unused, low-res, no obvious use
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 9 May 2020 (UTC)
