Editor assistance list
Hello. Since your account has recently not been editing very regularly, on the page Wikipedia:Editor assistance/list you name has been moved to a list of editors who are willing to give assistance, but may not always be available. There is an explanation at Wikipedia talk:Editor assistance/list#Problem with inactive accounts on the list. You are, of course, welcome to move yourself back to the other list if you wish to. Added template for SuggestBot
Hi,
Thanks for being one of SuggestBot's users! I hope you have found the bot's suggestions useful.
We are in the process of switching from our previous list-based signup process to using templates and userboxes, and I have therefore added the appropriate template to your user talk page. You should receive the first set of suggestions within a day, and since we'll be automating SuggestBot you will from then on continue to receive them regularly at the desired frequency.
We now also have a userbox that you can use to let others know you're using SuggestBot, and if you don't want to clutter your user talk page the bot can post to a sub-page in your userspace. More information about the userbox and usage of the template is available on User:SuggestBot/Getting Recommendations Regularly.
If there are any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me on my user talk page. Thanks again, Nettrom (talk) 21:04, 17 February 2011 (UTC)
speedy deletion
You have not explained why Robert Pitcairn (antiquary) fails WP:N criteria, please do that or restore the article. Robert Pitcairn (antiquary) has a notice in the DNB, as noted in the references, they are notable. cygnis insignis 13:45, 18 February 2011 (UTC)
That is how they are noted in the Dictionary of National Biography, which was in the article. Restore the article and nominate it for deletion, it makes the assertion of notability and is not a valid candidate for speedy deletion. cygnis insignis 14:04, 18 February 2011 (UTC)
- The DNB editor thinks he is notable as an antiquary! the article showed that and so does the abstract, your opinion of this is irrelevant. You seem to indicate he probably is notable, so you know it will pass through AfD, but take the discussion there instead if you want to waste more time on this. cygnis insignis 14:19, 18 February 2011 (UTC)
Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. We appreciate that you have signed up to receive suggestions regularly, your contributions make Wikipedia better — thanks for helping!
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please let us know on SuggestBot's talk page. Regards from Nettrom (talk), SuggestBot's caretaker. -- SuggestBot (talk) 20:01, 18 February 2011 (UTC)

Deletion of page create by me in the name of SIB Infotech
Snowolf
I had created a page for a company SIB Infotech and in that the details put about the company were very minimal and did not suggest any advert or anything like that Also, if you see other pages in that category i.e. the category of "Search Engine Optimization Consultants", you will find the pages of Location3 Media and the Marrion Group which are also company pages. Then why have they not been deleted?
Also, please note that the page which i created was because the category was of Search Engine Optimization Consultants and it suggests that we need to mention something about the individual or organization
Please would request you to remove your comments and help me add my page back
Regards Dhrumil

Image replacement fight on Agoge
Hi Snowolf. I noticed you reverted the edits by Jhdumas as I have and also have issued Jhdumas a warning. He's back at it again, and my watchlist reveal he had put his drawing back into the wonky place on the left side again today. I reverted it (and another, incorrect edit unrelated to him) to its previous condition. Can you look into this? We mere editors have no power in these matters whatsoever -- posting multiple warnings never seems to work. TeamZissou (talk) 02:06, 20 February 2011 (UTC)
- I received your reply -- thanks for the quick turnaround! I'll just keep on reverting and explaining why, and hopefully someone with a classical studies degree will eventually join in the discussion. I'll admit the current, accepted image doesn't say much about the Spartan agoge, but the replacement pic Jhdumas keeps trying to put on there depicts a "Hollywood" image, replete with hyper-musculature. Hello Snowwolf, i was wondering to know what was your reason for deleting the page i created with title of "Avesta Hojjati"? the article wasn't complete but i guess it had enough prove for it to be real/famous person such as http://i29.tinypic.com/1182613.jpg. so please review this and let me know how i can help to make this page for this young talented Iranian student. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Q7x6av (talk • contribs) 15:28, 20 February 2011 (UTC)

About E.volvin
Thanks for correcting my incorrect WP:A7. Article sounds like an interesting dance style - lets see how it develops!--Shirt58 (talk) 12:09, 21 February 2011 (UTC)
- Ah, just got your message monement after I added the above. To be honest, I really do dislike the WP:PROD process; it would seem to me somewhat secretive Star Chamber-ish in that its not something a casual user checks, as opposed to more open WP:CSD and WP:AfD processes. I'll tag the article for notability and references, and lets see how it goes from there. Again, thanks for your help and guidance! --Shirt58 (talk) 12:36, 21 February 2011 (UTC)

Help with dealing with a biased user
Hi Snowolf,
User named Sikh-history have been making very biased edits on a number of wiki pages. You can see his talk page for all the examples. He is issuing warnings to my fellow contributors on Labana page and thats what I was trying to remove, when you saw my edit on a talk page. I need your help to avoid sikh-history user from editing Labana page. He does not belong to Labana community and has no business in editing it and pushing his POV.
Can you help?

Someone doesn't know how to use talk pages
Hello, I see you referred to my corrections to teh Koran articles as 'vandalism'. You may not be aware that the correct English spelling is Koran. The spelling, Qu'ran is a corruption of Arabic. Therefore I will be changing these articles back. However I take your point about putting an editing summary and will do so in future. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Emmetfahy (talk • contribs)

HELP
As an admin who is online NOW, could you take a look at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#user:Awikipro spamming his services as a professional editor? This "professional wiki editor" is spamming his services to any and every new account he can find. mass reversion of his "welcome" template for many user talk pages may be needed. Hello, Snowolf. I am Maxwell Derwinee. I am not posting as such, but I assure you, I am. I just wanted to thank you for helping me. I have been a vandal in the past, and, despite not truly helping my situation with my account, you allowed me to stop trying to figure out a way to delete it. I thank you with great meaning. Goodbye.

Hello, this is "Thomasbum98" and I made the article about "Pepper and Kad" and please excuse me if you didn't do this, but I had a message saying "The deletion of an article you created, Pepper and Kad, has been proposed for the following reason:
Animated series with no assertion of notability or sources.
You are welcome to improve the article to meet Wikipedia's quality standards and remove the deletion notice from the article. You may also remove the notice if you disagree with the deletion, though in such cases, further discussion may take place at Articles for deletion, and the article may still be deleted if there is a consensus to do so.
Wikipedia has certain standards for inclusion that all articles must meet. Certain types of article must establish the notability of their subject by asserting its importance or significance. Additionally, since Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, content inappropriate for an encyclopedia, or content that would be more suited to somewhere else (such as a directory or social networking website) is not acceptable. See What Wikipedia is not for the relevant policy. You may wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.
Thank you. Snowolf" I did a lot of editing and made sure the article was in third person, an encyclopedia definition, and added some references. Again, I am sorry if you did report that I assumed that you did because of "Thank you. Snowolf" Have a nice day! Also great job on reporting vandalism! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thomasbum98 (talk • contribs) 01:33, 26 February 2011 (UTC)
