SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.

If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.

Vandalproof help

I was recently approved to use vandalproof, but the program finds that my username has "no privelages found". If it takes a bit of time to get my name setup to be allowed to login to the program, let me know. I also use Windows Vista. Are there known compatibility issues? Thanks.

Warning:Javascript security issue

Hi! I need to inform you that I've protected Wikipedia:WikiProject User scripts/Scripts/User tabs because it allows users to add code to the javascript of other users. If you are an admin, you are still able to edit it, but if you are not an admin, please copy and paste it into your userspace to continue modifying it. We can set up a message at the old javascript page telling users to change their links. If you need help, please contact me or User:Eagle_101. Thanks, --uǝʌǝsʎʇɹnoɟʇs 00:26, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

"NOEDITSECTION" in User:Snowolf/Bar

Hi, Snowolf. I noticed that User:Snowolf/Bar, which is transcluded into this page, contains the parameter __NOEDITSECTION__. This parameter is carried over onto this page, and as a result other editors don't have edit buttons next to each section on this talk page. If someone other than you wants to add to an existing section (to follow up on an earlier comment, for example) they have to type "&section=n" at the end of the URL or edit the entire talk page. Would you be OK with removing the __NOEDITSECTION__ parameter from the transcluded page? Thanks. —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 07:49, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

I've removed the __NOEDITSECTION__ — I hope you don't mind. It's just that it interferes with talk page usability. Let me know if there's a problem. —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 18:29, 28 October 2007 (UTC)

Two things

One:

AFBot

I would like a bot, that checks contribs, and for WP:FOWL, or any other WikiProjects, moves a user to the inactive part of a list of participants, and vice versa.

If possible, could you make the account named "AFBot". Thank you. Dreamy § 00:13, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

NPW

I would like to be approved, if it's possible.
Thank you. Dreamy § 22:26, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

Approval

Always glad to help! I didn't approve the one user because it looked like the 500 edit threshold hadn't been met...but I thought I'd leave it for you to look at. Anytime I can help, just let me know! Dreadstar 22:04, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

I went back and put the official "approved" templates on the user's pages, it's a very nice template! I'll be sure to use it from now on. Dreadstar 02:48, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

VP

Hi, sorry to bother you about this. I was approved as a user for VP on the 20th October but I think betacommand forgot to add me and a few others to the list so we are unable to connect. I have tried asking in all sorts of places about this but with no reply. Can you help? Many thanks DoyleyTalk 20:34, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
