Unsourced claims
[edit]Hi, SneakAttak. When you come across an edit that adds unsourced claims to an article, rather than tag it with {{By whom}}, just revert it. A person adding new content is getting it from somewhere and they should include that source in their edit. Hope that helps! Schazjmd (talk) 16:03, 9 August 2023 (UTC)
Warning users
[edit]Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template index/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. 47.227.95.73 (talk) 19:51, 22 October 2023 (UTC)
- I didn't know that, but thanks! I'll use these when I'm correcting vandalism from now on. SneakAttak (talk) 19:57, 22 October 2023 (UTC)
