Proposed deletion of The Crack Era
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article The Crack Era, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit]Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Another Round (Fat Joe song). It shows up!
[edit]Hi! We were getting a little long there in the AfD page, so I thought I'd move it to here. I logged out and could still see the sourcing to the MTV page, so it looks like it should show up to anyone else that looks at it. Tokyogirl79 (talk) 04:18, 26 October 2011 (UTC)tokyogirl79
Thanks for that. I've noticed that the article has been relisted as no consensus was reached how long does that go on for? What if they don't reach one? --Smush123 (talk) 22:42, 28 October 2011 (UTC)
A tool for you!
[edit]Hi Smush123! I've just come across one of your edits, and noticed that you might appreciate some help with references.
You might want to consider using this tool – it makes your life a whole heap easier, by filling in complete citation templates for your links. All you do is install the script:
// Add [[WP:Reflinks]] launcher in the toolbox on left addOnloadHook(function () { addPortletLink( "p-tb", // toolbox portlet "http://toolserver.org/~dispenser/cgi-bin/webreflinks.py/" + wgPageName + "?client=script&citeweb=on&overwrite=&limit=30&lang=" + wgContentLanguage, "Reflinks" // link label )});
on Special:MyPage/skin.js, then paste the bare URL (without [...] brackets) between your <ref></ref> tabs, and you'll find a clickable link called Reflinks in your toolbox section of the page (probably in the left hand column). Then click that tool. It does all the rest of the work (provided that you remember to save the page! It doesn't work for everything (particularly often not for PDF documents), but for pretty much anything ending in "htm" or "html" (and with a title) it will do really, really well. So long! Associated acts
[edit]Associated acts are only listed if the related artist has an significant involvement with the artist career (example Birdman with Lil Wayne) not working together in one or two songs, as that means that hundreds of other acts can be listed as "associated". Use an reliable source that specifically says if the act was involved in helping the artist career. Thanks Secret account 22:20, 23 December 2011 (UTC)
Will do. Thanks --Smush123 (talk) 04:34, 24 December 2011 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for April 23
[edit]Hi. When you recently edited Fat Joe, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ashanti (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. [edit]Please do not add or change content, as you did at Plata O Plomo (Fat Joe and Remy Ma album), without citing a reliable source using an inline citation that clearly supports the material. The burden is on the person wishing to keep in the material to meet these requirements, as a necessary (but not always sufficient) condition. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 17:10, 22 February 2017 (UTC)
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Plata O Plomo (Fat Joe and Remy Ma album), without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 19:21, 22 February 2017 (UTC)
I provided a reference to the album credits. Why did you undo it?Smush123 (talk) 19:24, 22 February 2017 (UTC)
Regarding your recent edits to Plata O Plomo (Fat Joe and Remy Ma album). First, I suspect that this source, which you have linked to to support your edit, is an illegal host of copyrighted material, per WP:COPYLINK, and should not be linked to. As well, you have deleted at section entitled "Reception" without explanation. For these reasons I am asking you to revert your edit. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 19:44, 22 February 2017 (UTC)
"Since most recently-created works are copyrighted, almost any Wikipedia article which cites its sources will link to copyrighted material. It is not necessary to obtain the permission of a copyright holder before linking to copyrighted material, just as an author of a book does not need permission to cite someone else's work in their bibliography. Likewise, Wikipedia is not restricted to linking only to CC BY-SA or open-source content." -WP:COPYLINK It is not a violation much like album art work on similar pages are not a violation as the work is owned by the people who the page is about. Reception should not be quoting the the creator of the works it has no benefit to the page. Smush123 (talk) 19:55, 22 February 2017 (UTC)
- Please take a moment to read the discussion at User talk:Bbb23#3 revert. I will remove your source from Plata O Plomo (Fat Joe and Remy Ma album) and tag it as unsourced until a more suitable source is found. Magnolia677 (talk) 23:29, 22 February 2017 (UTC)
February 2017
[edit]Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Fat Joe. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Magnolia677 (talk) 03:20, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
If you were to read the page it links to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Def_Jam:_Fight_for_NY the first paragraph states that Fat Joe is in the game. I can link to the IMDB if you wish? Smush123 (talk) 10:38, 23 February 2017 (UTC)

Wikihounding
[edit]This edit appears vexatious and an attempt to WP:WIKIHOUND. Please stop. Magnolia677 (talk) 00:23, 26 February 2017 (UTC)
February 2017
[edit] You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Big Pun. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Lemongirl942 (talk) 17:52, 26 February 2017 (UTC)
I'm asking you to self revert this edit. This is close to a WP:3RR and clearly edit warring against consensus. You made a bold edit, and multiple editors have reverted it. The next step is to discuss on the talk page (See WP:BRD). --Lemongirl942 (talk) 17:56, 26 February 2017 (UTC)
- @Lemongirl942: If you start a discussion I'd be happy to get involved. I do believe the original reversion was because I did not reference it. I have since done so. Smush123 (talk) 18:02, 26 February 2017 (UTC)
- We follow WP:BRD here. So I am asking you to revert to the status quo ante. IMDb is not a reliable source. And FYI, sources need to be proved reliable - not the reverse. The onus lies on you to start a discussion and get consensus that IMDb is an RS. More importantly, you made the bold edit and then you continued to edit war against multiple editors without discussing. And then you decided to template me. Sorry but all of this disruptive. I am waiting for you to self revert. --Lemongirl942 (talk) 18:05, 26 February 2017 (UTC)
- @Lemongirl942: I can reference MTV if you wish I just don't see how IMDB is less reliable. Also the fact that you have appeared out of nowhere to revert an edit on a page you have never edited leads me to believe you are attempting to troll me.
- For a start, one of our pillars is WP:AGF. I have no intention of trolling you btw, I am simply reverting questionably sourced edits from recent changes. IMDb is not a reliable source, it is considered a WP:USERGENERATED source which is unreliable. And since you were the one adding the information, the onus lies on you to start the discussion.
- You also do not seem to understand that you were edit warring. You made a change, and then you reverted 3 times to keep your version (despite multiple editors challenging your edits). And you never attempted to discuss even once. What's more, you put a warning template on my talk. At this moment, if I report you to WP:AN3, you will probably be blocked. If you self revert, at least it demonstrates good faith on your part and an understanding of where you went wrong. --Lemongirl942 (talk) 18:28, 26 February 2017 (UTC)
- @Lemongirl942: I have now updated the reference after you have linked me to the Wikipedia page that says IMDb is not considered reliable. Thank you although I have noticed you have communication with Magnolia677 a user who is hounding me which I struggle to believe is coincidental. Please, cut it out both of you. Smush123 (talk) 18:51, 26 February 2017 (UTC)
- Correcting mistakes of another user is not hounding. You are adding unreliable sources and you seem to have difficulty assuming good faith. More importantly, you seem to be deliberately ignoring my comment about edit warring. And I am not sure whether the source you added is reliable. Please come on the article talk page and discuss. --Lemongirl942 (talk) 18:58, 26 February 2017 (UTC)
- And I just saw that the content you added at Plata O Plomo (Fat Joe and Remy Ma album) is a WP:BLP violation sourced to youtube videos. Please do not restore it unless you get consensus. --Lemongirl942 (talk) 19:31, 26 February 2017 (UTC)

Columbia records is not listed.
