User talk:Smitty48823
Hi, your article is here now: User:Smitty48823/draft article on nathan bell. Fixed the typo in the articles name.--Ben Ben (talk) 23:14, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
THANKS! I am VERY new to wiki, this is my first article. I am going to get it a little further along, and then I think I will need help. How to format references has me baffled at this point. I appreciate your help. Now what was the code to sign a message????
Smitty Oh yeah. Smitty48823 (talk) 01:14, 2 February 2014 (UTC)
@Ben Ben: Hello Ben Ben. Thanks for your help a while back with an article I am drafting. I started it over in my sandbox, and I think I have it developed to a point that I would like some feedback from an experienced user. If you have a minute, would you please take a look? My sandbox is at User:Smitty48823/sandbox. Thank you for your time and any feedback you can provide. I am mainly interested in making sure this subject is worthy of being on Wikipedia, and that I have done the refrerences correctly, and that I have referenced all parts of the article that you think need a reference. Also, I think there is a mention of a person with the same name elsewhere in wiki. That page redirects to another page. Does that mean I have to have a unique name (I could call my article Nathan S. Bell if needed). THANK YOU. Smitty48823 (talk) 22:24, 15 February 2014 (UTC)
- Hey, just giving you a reply. The reason for the delete was that it was a redirect that was left when User:Ben Ben moved your article to the correct location. It was just a routine deletion of a redirect. You didn't do a thing wrong in this instance. It was just maintenance and that redirect just happened to be what it was tagged as. File permission problem with File:Nathan Bell performing at the Bluebird Cafe, Nashville, TN, Dec. 2013.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Nathan Bell performing at the Bluebird Cafe, Nashville, TN, Dec. 2013.png. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 11:34, 9 March 2014 (UTC)

Hi JMHamo - thanks for working to keep Wiki clean! I have asked to have the article undeleted; I hope that works.
I intend to bring the article up to standards. 6 months ago, my wife passed away, and I just haven't had the time nor heart to work on this recently. I'm sorry it's taking to long. I think I'm ready to dive back into it, and your message has helped remind me that it is time. Thank you!
I'm pretty new to Wiki, so I hope I followed the undelete instructions correctly. If I don't see it come back, I may ask for your help.
Thank you!
Smitty
