Remember to always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes (~~~~)
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to this (your talk) page, and a timestamp.
To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own private sandbox for use any time. Perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put
{{My sandbox}}
on your userpage.Sincerely, User:Crtew (talk) 18:10, 28 August 2012 (UTC) (Leave me a message)

Adopt a Journalist assignment
[edit]Smgarrett1, Your assignment is to write about Shukri Abu al-Burghul from Syria. Good luck, Crtew (talk) 03:35, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
Progress at this point
[edit]By now you should have ...
1. Written your notability statement.
2. Filled in your infobox.
3. Moved the material on your user page about your person under the "Adopt a Journalist" section under your user account. Copy that material, click on the red link of your journalist, and paste the material on that page!
4. Run your reflinks tool in the banner (by right clicking and creating a new tab). It might take a minute to complete the operation -- be patient. You will copy over the results from the tool tab you create to replace the existing ref tags in your article.
5. Taken the Wikipedia tutorial. After you do all of the above, you may begin writing your article.
