Re: Jesse Basso deletion
[edit]Re your message: I deleted the article because he failed to meet the notability criteria for inclusion on Wikipedia. I found no record of the band anywhere. The band is not listed in the All Music Guide nor does Google find anything. While I do not doubt that you are reading the back of your CD, unfortunately, I can not find any other evidence that the band exists, therefore I deleted the article. Perhaps in the future if the band is a success and has a hit and thus meet the notability requirements, you can recreate the article. -- Gogo Dodo 08:02, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
- Re your message: I wasn't offended. =) In answer to your question, yes, links to references would help should you rewrite the article. You would need to include either links to media coverage of the band, info on a charted hit, or other things that what make the band notable. If you look at some of the smaller bands in the same music genre as Let Eden Burn, you can see what an article should look like. You might also want to wander around Wikipedia:WikiProject Music for assistance. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. -- Gogo Dodo 08:14, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
The file File:Basso at recent performance.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
orphaned file, no foreseeable use
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Jon Kolbert (talk) 06:54, 14 August 2017 (UTC)
