Greetings! The concern with the Peggy Levitt article is that the her notability was not asserted. Specifically, the article did not show that she meets the notability guidelines for academics.

Besides general expansion, the other thing the article needs is to provide reliable sources that back up her notability. For example, have other researchers in her field cited her work in their work? Has she received a significant award? Has she had an article written about her in a journal, magazine or newspaper? Is she quoted extensively/often by newswriters?

I'm going to go ahead and undelete the article for you. I will not be online this weekend, so I can't monitor it over the course of the weekend. (I don't think it's likely, but it is possible that another administrator may speedy delete the article. If this happens, address them on their talk page about concerns they have.) I will check back in on it on Sunday or Monday. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask me; if something comes up over the weekend, ask another admin or use the {{helpme}} tag as described above. —C.Fred (talk) 19:10, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
