Too bad you don't accept first hand experience and reality. But I never lived in the McGill bubble either. Just another silenced maudit anglais from Verdun. Sad you didn't get as far in my correction to see "complacency and apathy" as a root cause for the demise of the Anglo populous. Fitting. I completed my post grad outside of Quebec... just as the PQ and Bloc wanted it. Peace "brother".

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article List of smoking bans in the United States, please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. - Dr. Michael Siegel is a very reliable source. The economic study was written by a non-economist and bears mention since it has been raised by an organization that represents bar owners in Ohio. Please refrain from adding information in a bias manner. I will re-add Siegel's opinion. Thank-you.
- Siegel may be a "reliable source" but his blog is not a reliable source: a "third-party, published sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy." Before re-adding the assorted material you've been adding and removing the reliable sources, please discuss the issue on the articles' talk pages. - SummerPhD (talk) 03:39, 4 October 2011 (UTC)
If you are going to only mention the appeal ruling, which was by the slightest of margins, you are obligated to mention the initial lower court ruling that found in favor of the bar owner (Bartec)--as well as the Supreme Court case scheduled for October 19th, 2011. Why did you remove the Nebraska Supreme Court case? Are Supreme Court websites and posted schedules unreliable? Your additions are bias and lack neutrality. You appear to possess some form of autonomous rule over the content of this article. Just an observation. Do you possess some sort of vested interest in tobacco use prohibitions? Or merely a staunch proponent?
- Please assume good faith. Your questions are already answered on the article's talk page and are properly discussed there. Thanks. - SummerPhD (talk) 03:49, 4 October 2011 (UTC)
The {{POV}} tags you have added to List of smoking bans in the United States require discussion on the talk page explaining the problems you perceive. If an explanation is not added shortly, I will remove the tags as referring to a discussion that does not exist. - SummerPhD (talk) 04:12, 4 October 2011 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:Libertarian Party of Michigan Logo.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Libertarian Party of Michigan Logo.jpg, which you've attributed to (Logo). I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ronhjones (Talk) 20:44, 5 April 2013 (UTC)
