I have replied at my talk page again. You have once again made a change to the article. The reviewing admin will decide if it is a copyvio or not. If it is a copyvio, it will be removed whether you change the template or not. So please don't try to change it there. ≈ Chamal talk ¤ 12:13, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
- A review of Michael Lobo indicates the article was correctly tagged for copyright infringement. Some examples of text which are repeated almost verbatim from the original source are:
- Wikipedia article reads:
...was an engineering graduate of Imperial College, London, who later joined the British-Indian army, and served with distinction in Egypt and Italy during World War II.

- These are clear examples of infringing text and cannot be used unless you are quoting from the source. The text in the article will need to be removed, revised, or released for use in Wikipedia by the methods outlined on the copyright violation notice placed on your talk page. If you wish to revise the text, please use the Talk:Michael Lobo/Temp page which is linked from the CV template on the article. (Also, reading WP:Close paraphrasing can provide help on how to avoid text that when revised might still be plagiarism. After you have revised the text, the page will be reviewed and if it is found to be clear of any infringing text, an administrator will move it into the mainspace. If you have any further questions, please fell free to ask me. — CactusWriter | needles 10:45, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
(outdent) Thank you for revising the text to eliminate any copyright infringement. I made some changes in the text that you revised in the temporary space. I removed the redundant sentences as well as the promotional tone and attributed text to the subject's claims. I've now moved the article into the mainspace. Good luck with your editing. — CactusWriter | needles 08:06, 26 September 2009 (UTC)
Re DYK
[edit]I see that you disagree with the copyvio claim and you have made a note of my talkpage. If you are successful in promptly arguing that your article is not a copyright violation then you should be able to represent at DYK (noting this problem) and I believe your hook will be readmitted. Although I must note that (im my view) you should consider Michael. I don't know him, but the article gives the impression that he might have written it which would not be fair on him. Proposed deletion of Pius Fidelis Pinto
[edit]The article Pius Fidelis Pinto has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Not clear how this person is notable. Fails WP:BIO
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. RadioFan (talk) 16:23, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
