Israel at the 2018 Olympics

[edit]

Please do not remove information such as the declining of quotas, which allowed Israel to compete. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 00:27, 21 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please give some evidence that they have qualified in skeleton. Additionally, the page Adam Edelman will be deleted unless there is some source indicating his notability.18abruce (talk) 05:54, 21 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Evidence of qualification--the many articles in Israeli papers confirming the acceptance of a quota spot? Notability in that he is competing at a modern olympic games? http://www.jpost.com/Israel-News/Sports/Blue-and-white-delegation-Pyeongchang-reaches-10-athletes-538183

you have to give evidence that he is competing in the olympics, not just your word. If there are many article why did it take so much discussion for you to present one? And please stop trying to deceive the reader on the israel at the olympics page; he finished 61st, the IBSF table indicates that was not good enough to qualify. When you present the wrong ranking, with a source that indicates that he did not qualify as evidence of qualification, it leads people to think you could be making it up. Thank you for finally presenting something that says he qualified. The only small problem still is that he has obtained a quota for Israel technically, and there are other eligible Israelis who could end up being the competitor in the Olympics. The Jerusalem Post article has the details for how he qualified clearly wrong, do you have access to another source that indicates that Israel has actually chosen Edelman?18abruce (talk) 15:30, 21 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/SlidingSportsJunkie, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
