Your article has been restored

[edit]

Hi there. I understand that you have indicated that you are the same Steve Dillard as the subject of this article. Although the article was deleted, the deletion was protested, the article restored pending another deletion discussion. While it is not guaranteed, it would make a difference to me, and I suspect a number of other editors, if you object to this article being present on Wikipedia. If you do object, would you please contact info-en-q@wikimedia.org. I believe that a volunteer will then get back to you, seek proof of your identity. They will then post to the discussion that there is confirmation that the subject of the article prefers for it not to be on Wikipedia. Thanks, and take care. Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. Cirt (talk) 20:41, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you are the subject of the article you should not be editing it yourself as per conflict of interest rules. Also what does the "A" (second middle initial) stand for? Quis separabit? 02:11, 2 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of Conflict of interest noticeboard discussion

[edit]

Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard regarding a possible conflict of interest incident with which you may be involved. Thank you. Quis separabit? 02:18, 2 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I apologize. I didn't realize that it was a conflict for the subject of an article to edit an article to make sure that his name was accurate. The middle initial "A' stands for "Armstrong." I also updated my title to chief judge. All of this can be verified via the Court of Appeals's website. http://www.gaappeals.us/ If no one is going to actively update my page, and I am not allowed to edit it to even provide basic information, then I would prefer that it be deleted. Thank you. Stephen Dillard

OK. Will advise accordingly. Yours, Quis separabit? 02:25, 2 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I sent you an email from my official court email address in order to verify that I am who I claim to be. You'll note that the email domain matches the official court website. As I said, my only intention was to ensure that my correct name was used and that my article was updated to reflect my current title. I didn't realize that these types of minor edits were problematic. I certainly do apologize. That said, I would appreciate my full name being used in the title of the article: Stephen Louis A. Dillard or Stephen Louis Armstrong Dillard. Alternatively, you can use Stephen Dillard. I do not go by Stephen Louis Dillard in either a personal or professional capacity. Also, here is a link to my official court biography: http://www.gaappeals.us/biography/bio_judges.php?jname=Stephen Dillard. I am puzzled as to my you feel the need to cite an old judicial opinion where I am listed as a lawyer to verify my name, when my official court biography is available. Thanks again for your assistance. I am not familiar with this platform, so please forgive any breach of etiquette
