Speedy deletion declined: File:Class92 92001 Cerhenice DC Testing.jpg
Hello Sladen. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of File:Class92 92001 Cerhenice DC Testing.jpg, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Is a plausible, useful redirect or is not a redirect at all. Thank you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 07:02, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
- At the moment the page's null/empty existance masks the implicit "redirect" through to commons for that image page. Can you suggest a better db template for speedy deletion? —Sladen (talk) 07:04, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
- I just figured it out. WP:CSD#F2 is the specific reason for deletion. You can use {{db-f2}} or {{db-nofile}}. Happy New Year. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 07:07, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Template:BS3-startCollapsible/Test
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Mhiji 02:01, 4 January 2011 (UTC)

Request for comment
This message is being sent to you because you have previously edited the Wikipedia:Naming conventions (use English) page. There is currently a discussion that may result in a significant change to Wikipedia policy. Specifically, a consensus is being sought on if the policies of WP:UCN and WP:EN continues to be working policies for naming biographical articles, or if such policies have been replaced by a new status quo. This discussion is on-going at Wikipedia talk:Naming conventions (use English), and your comments would be appreciated. Dolovis (talk) 17:25, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
Please can you stop removing a warning template
eg diff the title is disputed - it's misleading, and fails basic tests such as using the common name, and being verifyable.
Please don't remove the template until this is resolved. Thank you.Imgaril (talk) 21:06, 1 July 2011 (UTC)
The Duke Hovair
I'm curious, have you ever seen the Duke Hovair system in use? I ask because later references often refer to the sound of the hovertrains, and the Tracked Hovercraft certainly wasn't quiet. However, references from the era describe the "ghost like" silent operation. Any ideas? Maury Markowitz (talk) 21:25, 4 July 2011 (UTC)
Use preview before saving
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edits to Serbian Cyrillic alphabet, it is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, reduces edit conflicts, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Thank you. —Coroboy (talk) 00:56, 5 August 2011 (UTC)
- Appreciations, Thank you for the helpful reminder. —Sladen (talk) 11:53, 5 August 2011 (UTC)
Mark Shuttleworth reference
thank u for adding that reference so fast. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jman559 (talk • contribs) 12:59, 11 September 2011 (UTC)
- No problem, just happened to be awake at the right moment and found a suitable reference within a couple of clicks. Always good to have more citations. Perhaps wouldn't be willing to check over the newly added cite and see if there's any other information contained in it which could be added to the Mark Shuttleworth article? —Sladen (talk) 13:06, 11 September 2011 (UTC)
