Prioritized list
[edit]Had a look over this list; If I had to prioritize here, I'd say the following (moving down through the categories) were the most serious omissions:
- Chronicle play
- Comedy of intrigue
- Hebrew drama
- Meiningen Ensemble
- Sentimental comedy
- Symbolist theatre; probably best as something like Symbolist drama and theatre, even if unweildy, as material ought to go together.
- There are other movements along this model too: Expressionist drama and theatre, Surrealist drama and theatre etc. Futurists, Eccentricists, Constructivists, Dadaists. etc.
- I think Total theatre should probably be a redirect to Theatre of Cruelty, though it is wider than that.
- Renaissance theatre (i.e. broader than just English, to enter series on R culture)
- African drama
- Promenade performance
- Armand Gatti
- Heinar Kipphardt
- Nikolai Evreinov
- Carmelo Bene
- Roger Planchon
- Włodzimierz Staniewski and Gardzienice
- Josef Svoboda
- Georges Pitoëff
- Stage machinery
- Teatro Farnese
- and a music in the theatre one (a few titles on the list).
- What I understand as the important ones, of course, is based on my own experience, and so reflects those prejudices.

Here, but misspelled
[edit]I took a quick look and found an awful lot of the ones I checked already have articles but were just misspelled. I suggest that you search for each of these on Wikipedia and see if there is an article for the person under a slightly different spelling. -- Ssilvers (talk) 23:38, 29 August 2013 (UTC)
