Polygen

[edit]

Hello, Skysmith. You created Polygen in January 2012 as a redirect to Polyvalence. At that time the page included a definition of polyvalence or multivalence plus links to Polysemy, Polyvalent vaccine, and Antivenom. I recently re-worked the page into a disambiguation page. Is the current redirect still OK? Cnilep (talk) 07:57, 7 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

One down, a million to go

[edit]

Since he's listed on your page of missing artist pages, I thought I'd let you know I just created the article for Louis Vivin. If you'd like to add anything, please have at it. Kafziel Complaint Department: Please take a number 18:08, 20 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Missing topics about Geology and Geography

[edit]

Hello Skysmith, I had a quick look at the list above, and I'm interested in how you generated the list, and what you think the best way of dealing with the articles are. I made a few suggestions and comments the diff is here - not really sure, but if I found a page with the link you found I think mostly I'd reword them or pipe the word to the articles I suggested - I suppose they could be created as redirects but mostly I think that would result in more use of odd terminology. I'll watch this page for a bit if you feel like replying EdwardLane (talk) 21:44, 30 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Lots of those links are from various offline sources, including number of encyclopedias I have but many are also red links I have noticed in various Wikipedia pages. I don't consider myself an expert in geology so many of those could be worthy only for a redirect to various pages (as various people have done with my other Missing Topics pages) or maybe some vocabulary page (which I did not seem to find. The main idea is that if someone if looking for what the term means, they could be directed to appropriage page. And no doubt there are misspelling and the like. - Skysmith (talk) 08:11, 31 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for compiling this. May I know the source of this work. Many of them are typos or alternate spellings.--Redtigerxyz Talk 16:24, 7 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

In fact, the list is mostly based on some offline dictionaries I have (that are not exclusively about hinduism) and lots of it I typed in so there are bound to be typos. Feel fre to point them out and create appropriate redirects - Skysmith (talk) 20:43, 7 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Brilliant work.

[edit]

I love your misc biographies page, some truly fascinating characters. Have you got Brewer's Rogues, Villains and Eccentrics? It's a sublime and terrifying work of scholarship. Do please check out my unhewn future article list. Keep up your great work. Gareth E Kegg (talk) 00:04, 4 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Coastal landforms and processes

[edit]

I find that there are range of categories and topics that are poorly coverd or related to a project - I am considering that because the dominant feature/process of coasts is the water and the ocean, that the subject area should be part of the oceans project - as you have missing topics page - I would suggest that the well done template https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coastal_geography should be attached to oceans project - what do you think? satusuro 14:21, 2 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
