Your submission at Articles for creation: Consumers Distributing (August 5)

[edit]
Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by Robert McClenon was: This submission is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: This draft was declined for various reasons, including that an article already exists. A question was asked whether the submitter had any conflict of interest, with instructions not to resubmit without answering the question. This draft has been resubmitted without answering the question about conflict of interest.

This draft has been Rejected by a reviewer in the Articles for Creation review process. DO NOT resubmit this draft or attempt to resubmit this draft or prepare or submit a draft that is substantially the same as this draft without discussing the reasons for the rejection. You may request a discussion with the rejecting reviewer, or you may request a discussion with the community at the Teahouse. A discussion will not necessarily agree to a resubmission.

It should be noted that the reviewer has not decided that the topic is not notable. An article on the topic may be accepted in the future. However, there is no reason to think that this draft will become an article, and there is evidence that this draft will never become an article. If there is to be an article on this topic, this draft must first be blown up and started over.

If this draft is resubmitted without discussion and without starting it over, or if an attempt is made to resubmit this draft or an equivalent draft, without addressing the reasons for the Rejection by starting over, a partial block or a topic-ban may be requested against the submitting editor.

You may ask for advice about Rejection at the Teahouse.

There is no value to further submissions by this author.

You have been told this at the TeaHouse and on the article's talk page. We are not simply going to replace the existing article (or any of its sections) with your draft. Follow the instructions. Propose your exact changes and get consensus for them. Meters (talk) 08:02, 5 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

That's what I currently doing in the Tea House. Thanks.--Skycrapyrus (talk) 08:07, 5 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Don't do it there. The article talk page is the place to discuss article changes. If you don't pay attention and follow the instructions you are wasting your time (and our time). Meters (talk) 08:21, 5 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks I moved the discussion.--Skycrapyrus (talk) 08:24, 5 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Don't delete talk page threads that have already been replied to. Meters (talk) 08:30, 5 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, discussion pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Wikipedia:Teahouse, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Suonii180 (talk) 08:26, 5 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This was your own material, but since it had already been replied to it should have been collapsed (as I have done) rather than deleted. Do not delete or change talkpage threads that have already been replied to. Possibly the above user was confused about who left the comment because you did no indent properly , or sign. Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Skycrapyrus. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.  𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗗𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸 09:50, 5 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm answering all the points mentioned, so where could I be in conflict of interest?--Skycrapyrus (talk) 14:24, 5 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
