599th Bombardment Squadron

[edit]

I see you are new. You appear to have changed 599th Bombardment Squadron, but I am not sure what you were trying to do. The Watkins citation you inserted after the source of the squadron's cadre does not support that statement. Also, that page was previously cited, so a <ref name=> type citation would be handier. If you need help with whatever you were trying to do, feel free to post a message on my talk page. Lineagegeek (talk) 23:16, 18 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I was adding a new references from a book, which supports info on the page. The other reference was not removed, but moved to the next sentence. It is possible it didn't specifically support that sentence and that I inserted it in the wrong place. Anyway, I would just let this up to you to decide. You can recheck my citation and see if it should be added. Skyblue001 (talk) 09:37, 16 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome

[edit]

Nice work at adding content and citations to Wikipedia's pages. Since you hadn't received a welcome yet, I present to you an excerpt from a song about Wikipedia, back when the people here still have some sense of humor left. Read the lyrics with the South Korean anthem for maximum humor:

Until Wikipedia's servers shut down and the Wikimedia Foundation folds,
Donors, fund Wikipedia! Long live our encyclopedia!
Articles and three thousand portals full of verified information and references;
Bold Wikipedians, to the civil Wikipedian way, edit always faithfully!
