If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Belbury (talk) 11:36, 17 December 2024 (UTC)

- If you want to write things like "IT IS PASTAWAVE" to test out how Wikipedia works, you should use your sandbox rather than the Gnocchi article, that's all. Belbury (talk) 12:57, 22 December 2024 (UTC)
- What? That was in a citation... you seem to be full of vitriol. I am not a real life skunk, as much as I would like to be one. Please do not be frightened. That was not my first edit. Was also obviously going to be returned to the previous condition. You have such a negative tone. Plz switch me for some other helper peeeeeee-yew! (talk) 13:02, 22 December 2024 (UTC)

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, Banking as a service. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments belong on the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and may respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. Article talk pages are not the place to discuss opinions of the subject of articles, nor are such pages a forum. Thank you. Belbury (talk) 12:03, 22 December 2024 (UTC)
- Okayyyyyy. So..... How do I begin the process of removing a picture from an article, where the original site no longer has that image on display? peeeeeee-yew! (talk) 12:09, 22 December 2024 (UTC)
- Why would that be a reason to remove the picture? Belbury (talk) 12:11, 22 December 2024 (UTC)
- Wouldn't that reflect on our behalf that we are sponsoring them? Also we could be seen as trying to uphold a moment of the past, possibly through bias, when the company is changing and evolving. I just would like to know what the official stance on a company's media outlook should be. I would not like to uphold some nostalgic past standard. peeeeeee-yew! (talk) 12:41, 22 December 2024 (UTC)
- No thanks, for the lack of clarification, I guess? Please answer with some insight. peeeeeee-yew! (talk) 13:13, 22 December 2024 (UTC)
- In reply to your original question: you remove an image from an article the same way as you make any other edit: by just doing it. But, according to WP:BRD, another editor who disagrees can revert your change, and then you can have a discussion. Inserting a comment about the article (whether in a caption or in the main text) is never appropriate.
- In answer to your further questions: Wikipedia does not care particularly about being up to date - or at least, there is no urgency to do so, and we don't necessarily remove historical information just because things have changed. We also don't care much how a company wants to present itself: we care much more about how commentators present it. Compare WP:COMMONNAME (which is about the names of articles, rather than other aspects of presentation, but still has relevance). ColinFine (talk) 13:16, 22 December 2024 (UTC)
- Now that I know what not to do, I will not do those things. Goddessspeed. peeeeeee-yew! (talk) 13:25, 22 December 2024 (UTC)
